You have the old school guys who would say ok I've got you lined up for two fights and you will make $1 million each fight.

Then a rival promoter comes in and says you know what I'm going to woo all the top guys my way. Here I'll give $2 million and you only have to fight once.

Same compensation less fights. Isnt this part of the Al Haymon business plan? To lure guys in with higher paydays and less fights?

Not saying this specifically applies to Gassiev. Rather, it seems to be a general trend in the sport.
