It was when Breland was with Kronk and it was a right-hand that dropped him. Funny I often wonder what would have happened if Breland would have stayed with Kronk
if you ask me, both of them could use some bulking up I would favor McCrory The reason for this is upon viewing Breland - Starling one, I noticed that Mark's legs seemed extremely weak and kept folding on him. I had never seen anything like it. It really was a shame and felt he wasnt strong enough to be a professional fighter. His legs weren't strong, he tired too quickly, and he was far too lanky for a fighter and too much of a target for opponents - just hit him anywhere, you'll find him.
McCrory looks a lot more impressive to me. Better balance, better movement, better punch placement/guard, etc. I imagine that he'd stop Breland at some point in the later rounds.
I like Breland’s explosiveness here to be the difference. Maybe by punctuating the flashier exchanges, maybe by wobbling Milton along the way or getting a knockdown … maybe even a stoppage. Someone on this thread referred to McCrory sometimes going on cruise control (forgot the exact term) and I think that’s a legit trait. Breland was more locked in and engaged, I think, and thus more likely to fight the full three minutes to bank more rounds (in addition to having that explosive pop … working the full rounds probably results in him landing a few more of those difference-makers over the course of the fight). Gimme Breland by a fairly comfortable decision, 8-4/10-5 depending on whether it’s 12 or 15, with more rounds that are decided by a single punch or exchange than are one-sided.
