Silva was in total defensive mode, he wanted no part of Minakov. Not like Silva had not been stopped before but that was without TRT and he was always more offensive in those losses. Only if Minakov got in better condition and had the opportunity to fight the Worlds best, He is a top talent.
Yeah I've seen a gradual slip in ability from him over the last couple of years. Still looks pretty good though... But not the same guy that had so many hardcores buzzing in 2012-2013.
Bigfoot is completely shot, chin has been cracked too many times. He really shouldn't even be licensed to fight anymore, hard to believe this is the same guy that beat Fedor, Arlovski, Overeem and took Browne's 0.
I'd like to see Minakov in the UFC but I doubt he'd be that interested in fighting in the US again the way he just left Bellator out of the blue.
He seems to be only interested in fighting part time... I've seen a gradual decline in sharpness(speed, accuracy, fight IQ) over the last couple of years. He was incredibly sharp during his Bellator run and slightly before it. A real shame because he's one of the best prospects that the HW division has seen in a long time.
He did seem in a lot better shape for this one though. I really hope he buckles down and devotes ALL his time to fighting. He could be a great.

What a great mount and top game from such a big guy, such smooth transitions and balance. ADCC level stuff right there! He holds that low mount then shifts to a high mount after isolating an arm then goes knee on belly..... GREAT STUFF!
It's a shame that this guy is just rotting away... HW talent like this doesn't come along very often.
