After Prograis vs Taylor this weekend, who is the 140 division's champion?

    option 1) The Prograis/Taylor winner.
    - Would be the WBSS, GBP/Ring Magazine, IBF, WBA and WBC "Diamond" champion.
    option 2) Mickey Garcia.
    - Current "Lineal" champion, whatever that matters.
    option 3) Nobody.
    - Maybe you feel that the current WBC and WBO champion Ramirez should be conquered first.
    option 4) Someone else.
    - Or maybe you feel Ramirez is already the champ. Or don't agree with Garcia's lineal claim over Crawford.

Quite possibly the winner of Prograis Taylor, but for me it'll be the winner of them and Ramirez.

So fine with either option but I got no one just yet

How about the winner of Prograis - Taylor vs Ramirez?

Mikey Garcia's last two fights were at 135 and 147. He shouldn't be considered a 140 champion at this point.

I think the winner of Kely/Pograis can beat Garcia, he`s pretty limited.

I think it's a toss up, but that's not really the point here. The division's champion isn't always the best in the division anyway, just the guy who's holding the championship at that point in time.

The Prograis/Taylor winner. Mikey Garcia shouldn't even be an option. I think Ramirez has a claim to be number 3, but he ain't in front of Prograis or Taylor IMO.

Garcia lost a little his supporters on here when he got dominated by Spence.

Prograis/Taylor winner as numero uno with Ramirez the next worthy challenger.

However even after their fight I’d have each one of Prograis/Taylor as 1&2 in the division and Ramirez as number 3.

Garcia is too busy avoiding dieting to be taken seriously at 140.

    Ramirez 25-0

    He has 2 belts

    Best wins

    Hooker
Zepeda (a fight many feel JCR lost)
    Orozco
    Imam
    Mike Reed

    Rougarou 24-0

    Best wins

    Indongo
    Relikh
    Flanagan
    Joel Diaz Jr.
    Velasco

    Taylor 15-0

    Postol
    Baranchyk
    Vasquez
    Martin
    Davies

Both JCR and Rougarou have had 10 and 9 fights more respectively than Taylor but Taylor's resume>>Rougarou's IMO

    Postol>>Indongo
    Baranchyk>>Relikh
    Vasquez>>Flangan
    Martin>>Diaz Jr.
    Davies>>Velasco

    Or

    Postol>>Indongo
    Baranchyk<<Relikh
    Vasquez<<Flanagan
    Martin>>Diaz Jr
    Davies>>Velasco

Either way I think Taylor edges it and personally I don't think Flanagan is better than Vasquez and I think Baranchyk KO's Relikh who is soft downstairs.

I like and rate all three of them but the winner of Taylor vs Rougarou is #1

Still, I would have thought at least a couple of the lineal supremacist crowd would have voted for him. Because that's their thing, lineal above all, right?!
