I learn toward Minter by decision or late-round stoppage, but could Alan be offset by Tito's punches?

Trinidad can win this imo, its not as if Minter is a bad style matchup for him, even if he may be stronger.

Not a good fight for tito, Minter was awkward, I expect him to be ahead on the cards before tito walks him down and stops him late. Minters head would be pissing blood, thats the only real guarentee we have.

I go for Minter on points, underrated and durable. He's got to keep his boxing together though, got to look after that dodgy skin of his.

Minter takes a split decision on this one, a bit of a roughneck, would get under Trinidad's skin on various occasions, but Tito hits with enough punches to cause Alan some discomfort.

Minter's paper-thin skin would likely be an issue against such a sharp precision puncher.Minter definitely has the capability of taking advantage of Trinidad's plodding footwork and outboxing him for a bit,but he lack's the defense and discipline to prevent Trinidad from tearing his face to pieces.

EDIT: another ****ing bumped thread from Thinblack

Minter goes even with Tito throughout much of the fight but ultimately catches a bad beating late. It's stopped in the final few rounds. Blood all over the place.

Minter would be out of his depth.

Trinidad to bust up Boom Boom in ten or so.

i to am leaning toward minter he is underrated , his skin is always an issue though but for me trinidad might be vulnerable early as was sometimes the case. and a possible early KD in minters favour may be just enough at the end to swing a decision his way

I think Minter has a very good chance here, he can box, and punch, he caught Hagler with good punch, and following Combo, and Shook Hamsho to his boots with a shot, these type of shots would introduce Trinidad to the canvas i have little doubt, Felix does get up looking for payback, but Alan, providing he boxes to order, has a decent chin and mobility stamina and skills enough, i think to gain a close points decision, i cant help thinking that the stalking Tito walks onto a few Minter surprises,

I'm sort of inbetween on this, Minter is the wrong style for Tito, but Tito may have the athleticism to overcome that against a champion who wasn't at the top level.

PS Thinblack bumps some decent threads, I prefer it to a new identical thread
