Brian Mighty Minto will be making his 3rd defense of his WBA title against tough fringe contender Marcus McGee.

For those who don't know McGee, he is the best kept secret in boxing next to Minto himself. While his record is unimpressive at 20-16, he is a worthy challenge to anyone. He relies on his outstanding ring generalship and skills to win fights, and is coming off of a shutout victory. Recently he was robbed by Danny Williams (I had it 5-1 McGee) and prior to that was robbed against unbeaten David Rodriguez in a fight I scored 6-2 McGee. He also was poisoned against Virchis, resulting in him literally falling over after missing a jab and not able to rise. Prior to this he was schooling him.

Minto, always looking for the top contender, chose to make this voluntary defense of his title to bring him one step closer to the Undisputed championship. He knows McGee is dangerous, but I'm looking forward to this fight between the two most ducked fighters in the world today.

I'm picking Minto KO2. McGee is such a tremendous defensive fighter he's able to avoid him for a round.

Look boss the plane ! Oh, wait I thought this was Fantasy Island. Two pudgy six round fighters, boxing for a "title". That is fantasy enough.
So who's the next contender in line? Butterbean?

Butterbean is King of The Four Rounders, you can't fault him for his inability to win past that :bart

Marcus "Migraine" McGee is the best kept secret in the division right now. He's been robbed in every loss over the past 4 years and Minto is showing the true mettle of a champion in defending his title against him. This is probably Mintos best opponent since the robbery defeat against Krasniqi.

He'll fight the guys regarded as "the best" when they stop avoiding him. Wlad is so scared of him he wont even say his name.

If they had a trailer park title and the division was built around Andrew Hartley, Charlie Zelenoff, Mike Minto, BStrege and Paulie Malignaggi...it'd be like the 80s WW boom all over again.

McGee is a bum and you know it but he is a good bum,he fought some good guys like Ibragimov,Solis and Bergeron but Minto is gonna KO him most likely.I'd like to see Minto with guys like McCline or even Haye or Ruiz

I saw McGee fighting Michael Grant three years ago. McGee was absolutely run-for-shelter abysmal, and only Grant sleepwalking through 7/8ths of the fight saw him make it to the final bell.

    Best kept secret? Yeah right.

Wlad is ducking him. Denying this is laughable.

McGee broke his leg in training for Grant. He fought because he's a warrior, in a rematch he would of won via shutout.
