I would favour Minto as long as he got past the 1st few rounds. Minto then would expose Haye and wear him down, I know Haye is supposed to be an elite guy and Minto a sort of journey man but I think Haye is unable to tough it out and Minto is the type of fighter who would expose him.

Instead we get a terrible fight with Valuev which will turn into a Saturday afternoon wrestling match. Haye thinks he is an explosive fighter who beat Macrenelli as did everyone else and Barrett was a weak gatekeeper.

Haye is untested. Barely 22 fights, highly inactive. He could well be exposed by ANY Top 20 Heavyweight.

Haye knows that so he just tries to score 1 single big fight before the scam unravels.

Haye has never let himself be tested after that loss. Hes learned and got better and with the extra weight at heavyweight along with his speed he's going to cause anyone trouble.

Minto would be the best heavyweight Haye has faced (nobody really believes he is going to actually step in the ring with Valuev).

not really, anyways glad i got a reaction, so now that you have answered...sort of explain what Haye has done as a heavyweight...nothing right so why not fight a guy like Minto or has boxing become so low that fighters don't have to test themselves before they go for a belt?

Minto would have a chance because Haye was knocked out by a former super middleweight but Haye is so explosive that I'd have to favor him.

Minto would be the type of guys that Haye would have to box if he wanted to get a mandatory. He'd probably win against Minto as Minto is short for a HW and not exceptionally fast, but there's always a risk.

You have to favor Haye, but I would not be at all surprised if Minto KTFO'd that f@g in under 5

I'd favor the pudgy Minto over Haye in a hot dog eating contest.
In a boxing match , I predict the promoter would be indicted for
    Minto's manslaughter.

Minto will get Koed...Dont forget your speaking of a guy who went life and death with Vinnie Maddalone and lost a decision to 47 yrs old Tony Tubbs...

I suppose that's slightly worse than getting KTFO'd by a 40 year old Carl Thompson, and going life and death with a SMW?

Really???? Mormeck should have koed his ass in there fight. And he is not a really big puncher.

I think a Minto-Haye fight would be a good battle and I think it could go either way. I think you have to favor Haye based on his accomplishments at crusier but I think that Minto hits hard and has a better chin, making him a very live underdog versus the brittle chinned Haye.
