People on this forum overrate wlad big time. Minto would stop wlad on cuts in round6.

Billy "The Kid" Zumbrun gave ATG and Holyfield conquerer Riddick Bowe all he could handle in a SD loss. Minto schooled him.

Axel Schultz made ATG and Smokin Joe Frazier conqueror George Foreman his girlfriend and deserved the win. Minto brutally beat him down.

Maddalone is a crowd pleaser who has thrilled crowds coast to coast and is such a phenom he excels at multiple sports. Minto took him on early in his career and beat him, as well.

Finally some sense in this thread.

Although you seem to over rate Wlad as well, seeing as you have him lasting to the 6th...

Wlad doesn't even dare mention Minto's name!

Keep in mind Minto is also an avid Rocky fan. Before every fight he watches Rocky 4 and when he sees the once great Apollo fall to that commie ******* Drago he becomes the man they call "THE BEAST!" Against Wlad, who bares a resemblance to Drago and is from the former Soviet Union, he would seek revenge in honor of his fallen countryman Apollo Creed.

Minto's got some boxing skill. He has good head movement and seems
to take his training seriously. If he could manage to lose enough
weight to compete as a cruiserweight he might do well with some of
the top boys. However, Wlad might well K.O. little Minto with his first
    serious left jab.

I like Wlad but no one can deny that he has strategically avoided Minto for a while now. In fact, the only time I've seen Wlad cut an interview short in a rude manner was on RTL in Germany when they asked him if he would consider fighting Minto.

Minto was extremely ill going into this fight (112 degree fever the day of the fight), but refused to call the fight off because he is a warrior unlike some fighters coughvitalicough.

And Minto deserved the win nonetheless. Had the fight not been in Germany Minto would of been one step closer to the ultimate goal, bringing the biggest title in sports back to where it began, AMERICA :happy :happy

Minto versus Arreola or Haye would be nice, but I think either of those guys are a level above The Beast. He's a great contender, but I hate to say its only an outside chance he'd ever be a titleholder. Wlad would KO him inside 10 rounds.

Exactly. I was at the Wlad Thompson fight . I was watching him getting interviewed afterward and when the interviewer asked him what he thinks about Minto he started shrieking like a terrified girl but lucky for him Steward pulled the power cord and the interview ended and Wlad saved face :-(

This is just one example of this, keep that in mind as well.
