No he broke his spine in half before the Tubbs fight. He stepped in front of a fully loaded 18 wheeler going 65 to save a girl who was running out for the ice cream truck. It saved the girl but sadly it resulted in him being defeated by Tubbs, and forever tainting his legacy........

Are you sure Wlad wasn't "shrieking' from laughter?

If you call eyes wide open in fear, tears running down a face, yelling don't call "HE WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED" laughing, then yeah he was laughing. This is what Wlad looked like

The question is why hasn't Minto been getting a title shot lately?

Minto is the Heavyweight Champion of the boxing rich state of Pennsylvania, a title he won by a vicious 1st round KO. That, combined with his previous 4 fights have ended in the first should give him at least a shot for one of the belts.

Vlad would knock him out, it would be a mismatch. I wish Minto well, but...

No stamina? Watch this, it's the 12th of his brutal slugest with Krasniqi, a fight in which most fighters would of quit on their stool ala Frazier in the Thrilla, or simply took a dive ala Liston in the Ali rematch.

Minto is still chugging on in this fight, showing the heart of a lion, the power, speed that leads to him being called the next great HW.

Am I the only one that saw Minto's first round destruction of Byron Polley? The same Byron Polley that destroyed Mike Pena in 1. He couldn't get his big left hook near the face of Minto before he was countered with that trademark right hand and seperated from his senses. And who was ringside in Chester that night? That's right, Wladimir Klitschko. I guess he reconsidered their big showdown after seeing the power of Minto up close.

Watch this fight. It might turn you from a blind hater into a well balanced and non biased fan of Minto,

Minto shows the speed of a cougar, and power of a grizzly dispatching this highly tough elite contender.

He slaughtered a journeyman fighter named John Poore in less than a
round. Poore is pretty limited but he is pretty heavyhanded. Minto
is no bum and he is slowly improving his game. Very dedicated and
fairly slippery defensively with good head movement for a heavy.
Unfortunately he's competing in a era of giant heavies like Wlad and
has no chance. Wlad was tossing the mammoth 260lb. 6foot 5 inch
Thompson around like a rag doll late in the fight. Minto needs to stay
away from the real big guys at heavy. He should try his hand at cruiser.

Precisely. That's where the inexcusable ducking began.

It's ironic, Minto's dominance is his downfall.
