Minto is a straight shooter...it blew my mind when he said he only got a $5000 purse for the Madalone fight...and ESPN is still replaying that fight.
Looks like Suge has found himself another idol to dream about. And this one is a bigger loser than the last. I don't think that either of the Klits are the be-all-end-all of heavyweight boxing, even now, but Suge's blind vitriol for the Klits must rival that of Atlas. Brian Minto would get circles boxed around him by the likes of a 40 year old Golota, and would get starched pretty quickly by either Klits.
Just chill out with all the hating, Brian is an all action fighter and you all like action fighters right??
Action is nice. But action against real opposition (as opposed to punching bags) is even better. This is thesame kind of commentaries people were making for Mike Mollo and Mollo hit the ceiling of his potential pretty quickly. Exactly when does Minto plan to step up his level of comp., so that we know where his is at?
Minto will fight anyone anytime, and they don't even have to pay him fairly...they don't make them like that anymore.
Listen to the show, Brian brings it all into view, he has no promoter and its tough to get fights because he's only getting about $20,000 a fight when he's promised $50,000-60,000. He's just staying busy and hoping something comes along.
Peter was in good shape. don't judge everything on weight and height. Peter is a large dude. here is the weigh in pic. This content is protected Peter KO6 Minto.
Well, Peter's trainer said after the fight that the plan was to come into the fight at 243 or so. So Sam was off by 10 pounds. But he didn't look bad at the weigh in.
