Watch the fight. Peter was puffing in the very early rounds....its because he is not physically conditioned. Look at the guy....its obvious. And for Toney, as great as he is, its pitiful to come into the ring in that shape (egg).

Where was that "improvement" during the VK fight? I admit he looked better, but it was like going from step 1 to step 1.5....on a scale of 10. He has never looked in any fight. Always raw, always rabbit punching, always easy to hit, and always slow. I think we have seen the best that Peter can perform.

he's entitled to his opinions but all these people dissing wlad cause vitali beat peter more clearly don't understand sam peter.

Compare Peter's energy, effort and aggression with the Wlad fight and then the Vitali fight. He looks like a completely different fighter. He was 10 pounds heavier and had absorbed massive punishment at the hands of wlad and mccline. dude looked drugged the whole fight. even in the prefight ceremonies, he had no energy. Against Wlad, he was angry and looking to make a pt.

ive made this point before. He looked better against Toney and Maskaev cause they stood right in front of them and are plainly far inferior to both klitschkos. The klits despite their size use movement which makes it harder to land. This concept seems to escape about 95% of the posters here.

Conclusion: Wlad faced the best version of sam peter.

Think about it. When a boxer takes a physical beating, it's not crazy to think he will decline as a result.
