What are Brian Minto's top 5 wins? Here's my list 1. Axel Schultz- Like I said in a previous thread, Schultz is a forgotten great. He beat up George Foreman and deserved the decision. Minto beat him up. 2. Billy "The Kid" Zumbrun- Beat up ATG and Holyfield conqueror Riddick Bowe. Minto gave him a boxing lesson. 3. John Poore- A super dangerous contender with crushing power in each hand. Minto showed the speed of a cougar and power of a hungry Grizzly in dispatching him in one round. 4. Vinny Maddalone- A highly regarded fighter whose crowd pleasing style has put him on National TV more times than I can count. Minto took him on early in his career and stopped him late, when he ironed out his technique he knocked him out brutally in 2. 5. Byron Polley- A very slick, technical boxer that was an elite contender. Polley thought he could outbox Minto, he thought wrong. Minto knocked him out with his trademark right hand. Wlad was at this fight and this is where the inexcusable ducking began. Who else is out there for Minto to beat? With Wlad ducking him all he can do is continue to knock out elite contenders in the first round.
Minto is a bum. All you have demonstrated in this thread is that he has a crap resume, and has fought never were's and has beens.
So is all this recent support for Minto some kind of conceptual joke or are people really that delusional?
1 - A shot Axel Schultz who had not fought for over 7 years after being Stopped by Wlad in 1999. 2 - A come from behind 10 round KO win over Vinny Maddalone who has been dominated by all quality fighters he has fought. 3 - A commanding rematch victory over Maddalone. 4 - A close win over Trialhorse Danny Batchelder 5- A Clear pts win over Billy Zumbrun These are mainly journeymen and Trialhorses along with a shot Axel Schultz. I do believe Minto is capable of more than this, he needs to fight better opposition and soon. Having said that though I am not sure he would compete well at the highest level but he certainly needs to be pushed up a level to see what he can do. The bums he has fought have proved nothing thus far and the four straight 1st round KOs looks impressive but these guys are nothing fighters with built up records.
I'd put Minto in the lower half of my top 25. He did look very good against Luan Krasniqi, who is a fringe contender and fomrer European champ. There has long been talk of a Toney-Minto fight. Wouldn't mind seeing that though Toney would be favored.
Did he beat the **** out of you in high school? Did he **** your girlfriend? Stop with the nonsense threads, douchebag.
