Two judges had it 49-46(4 rounds to 1) for Dos Antos, atrocious judging... Stipe should have gotten the nod, Dos Antos was very lucky to get the "win" I had Stipe winning 3 CLEAR rounds. Dos Antos only 1 clear, at the very worst it was 49-48 Miocic.
In MMA there are less rounds than boxing, so fights are always going to be closer. There can't be any margin for error on the part of the judges, 7 less rounds in title fights is a big difference as far as scoring goes.
I had Dos Santos edging it. I gave him rounds 3, 4 and 5. I was a very close fight with a lot of ebb and flow. I wouldn't argue if someone had Miocic winning it but to say that Miocic won the fight clearly and was robbed is laughable.
Round 4? Oh yeah, because he scored a lame takedown at the end of the round? I had Stipe winning a decisive 49-48. I don't see how anyone could score rounds 1,2 and 4 for Dos Antos. Either way, you have to agree that the judges were clearly biased... Two 49-46 cards? Come on man. Even if Miocic didn't get dropped in round 3, those criminal judges probably would of had Dos Antos winning by a round or two.
The scores were not legit...but a robberry? nah...close fight. No problem with Dos Santos getting the W...but the opposite can definitely be said too. It was a war.
Dos santos clearly lost rounds 1+2. The other 3 rounds were very close. I thought stipe won, but wasn't a robbery.
