If Mir beats Carwin and the UFC wants to set up Lesnar Mir III, I'd love to see Lesnar and Mir on the Ultimate fighter. Please, just hear me out. I know it would tie up the belt for a bit and keep them inactive, but I think it would be great if they did a "wrestling background" vs "BJJ Background" show with them coaching respectively. Just to see how the two teams would do against eachother. This is trully a situation where BJJ won the first fight, and wrestling and ground control won the second fight. What do y'all think?
Sounds great to me! It would give the heavyweight championship the limelight which is exactly what it needs.
Yeah I think that's a good idea. Both Mir and Lesnar are both personalities with a heated rivalry, so that'll make for a good season. It would be a better season than Mir vs Nog. No disrespect to Nog, but he's boring. He shouldn't have been a coach on TUF IMO. Brock and Frank would **** talk each other from the start of the show all the way to the rubber match. Good idea Beware. I never even thought of that. And on a side note, Cain would run a train on the HW division awaiting the winner of that fight.
It would be a quality idea if it didn't hold up the belt for so long. Cain is now a legit contender. It's not right to hold him back even more.
It would be the best season ever! Let Cain fight Junior Dos Santos for the interim title in the mean-time.
And what about the idea of splitting up "wrestlers" and "BJJ"? You think that would work too? I'd be real interested in seeing just how the styles work against eachother throughout the competition
Normally id go for it but lets say they take the 12th season of TUF which should begin filming in the summer then that means they wont fight until December. Is Brock really going to wanna go without fighting from July 09 to December 2010 ?
If you want to see the first murder on a reality tv show, then this is a great idea. Brock Lesnar does not seem like the type to want to spend his time hanging around with guys who aren't "his" guys. Plus, I hear the ice fishing in Vegas sucks big time.
With Cain,DosSantos,Carwin all in the mix that would just be bad timing, Brock hasn't fought in a long time and the last thing he needs is more time off. i'm actually happy with Chuck and Tito coaching it's 2 legends of the sport who really hate each other and arn't in contention so nothing is being held up.
