And C'mon Anarchy! WTH is up with the fighters you root for? I've seen you not back Stann, now you root for a bjj guy over a striker?

I don't get you man :) The Corps has changed.

Horrible match. Mir pulling an upset would be a disaster for division's reputation.

  4. What a **** matchup, this garbage is the best they could do?

    Boring ****.

JDS is going to literally tear him apart. This won't last longer than a round. The first decent shot JDS hits him with and Mir turns to mush. Somewhere Nog will be looking on and smiling.....

It's not entirely outside the realm of possibility, but it's up there with Rashad leaving the cage on two steady feet tomorrow.

If Mir gets rocked and JDS totally loses his wad and gets reckless Mir may be able to tie up a limb, but it's extremely un-****ing-likely

pretty sure no one thought he would tap (and snap) big nog's arm, so yes, it very well could

Hahaha, I dont like Stann simply because of how he treated his Marines when he was in. I know I'm an NCO and Corp NCO's are suppose to be the most scariest creatures alive but I treat these kids with respect.

Awww come on Koa, the Corp Brutality is still very ALIVE!!! Mir is ****ing sick!! Anyone can get knocked out but Mir, Babalu, Palhares, etc make you look stupid before breaking your limbs... Plus I'm a student of all Martial Arts and BJJ has saved my life before. :good

That fight was already on the ground tho.

If Dos Santos doesn't wanna go to the ground with Mir, the only way Mir can get him there is by knocking him down.

    Good luck with that. :smoke

This fight makes sense in terms of ranking and selling the fight. Dos Santos should have plenty of incentive to KO Mir. If Mir somehow submits Junior - which lets face it - is entirely possible - then he carves out a new legacy of his own.

Hey, I can't argue with it :) There is brutality in BJJ as well, the breaks and snaps have their own brutality and method about them. On that note, if Mir manages to get JDS on the ground he has a decent chance. I just don't see him being able to keep his face off of JDS' fist for more than a round and a half.

And, if BJJ has saved your ass, then you must be doing it right! And hey, if you keep your Marines on the happy side of content, show them you have some pride in them, they will have a hard time letting you down. Man, I worked my ass off for the first SSgt that gave me a chance to prove myself, he demanded a lot but was fair, he rewarded the **** out of us as well when we performed. That sort of leadership style works. It worked on me, and it worked for me. It's one thing to say let yourself down, but once you get guys to have some pride in what they do, they really become something worth while.
