What does a catchweight fight do for either of these guys? Miranda is trying to establish himself in the 168 lb division, and the general consensus is that Abraham is an untested alphabet champ. Thoughts?

True champion of what it's a catchweight fight? Pavlik, love him or hate him absolutely bludgeoned Miranda and twice beat a guy who twice beat Bernard Hopkins. Miranda barely escaped his fight with Miranda and has fought no true top middleweights. Why doesn't Abraham look to unify against Mora?

Dude, did you watch the whole Miranda-Abraham fight? Not only did he break his jaw, but there were some fouls that shouldn't have been ruled fouls.

I'm an Abraham fan as well as a Miranda fan, but this first match was won by Miranda no question. And that's if you don't take the broken jaw into account.

Then, if you look at the broken jaw, props to Abraham for fighting with a broken jaw but that fight should have been stopped. That was SEVERE damage. Blood was pooring all over the place, his face was completly demolished. Even Abraham didn't want to fight. The reasons behind him continuing I don't know, but if you call people saying this fight should have been stopped idiots, you don't know much about nothing.

Just imagine this, Miranda broke Abraham's jaw with a punch or a head butt, which ever you preffer. Later in the bout, another punch, head butt sends splinters of his jaw in his brains, his eyes, his sinuses, his ears... anywhere in the ****ing head. The guy could be crippled for the rest of is life.

Not stopping this bout WAS the moronic thing to do. The doctor that allowed this to continue should be banned from the sport.:fire

This rematch is more needed then almost any other I can remember in recent times. I have never seen so much debate over and over again.

The winner of #2 is hopefully clear and fair. No more will the bull**** that happened in Germany need to be talked about again.

How is anybody gonna hate on a fight were a guy fights outside of friendly confines for the first time, at a weight he's never fought at, against the guy who gave him by far his toughest fight yet in a rematch were the first fight was edge of your seat-stuff throughout?
I for one can hardly wait for this one.

Exactly! Abraham has the balls of a rhinocerous! In fact the balls on Hermit's squirrel were inspired by King Arthur!

    Good post,flux!

Pavlik vs Abraham could really go either way! They are both more or less on the same level.

Pavlik has the biggest skalp(Taylor) in his record, but Abraham has faced a higher number of pretty decent and good opponents in his pro career up to now.

Abraham all the way. Let's all be happy he's fighting in America. It just means he's willing to fight the best. Fighting Miranda 2nd time just proves it

IMO he would be a tough fight for Pavlik

:good Abraham has balls and courage.. To suffer a broken jaw and not coming out of the fight when he could have probably still had gotten a rematch, is just fearless.. Especially against a hitter like Miranda.. Abraham showed he wouldn't back down and continuted to fight, in which he won.. If Abraham doesn't get seriously hurt in this fight, I can probably see him winning this fight easily, by a wide UD or even by tko..
