edge to Pavlik though I feel Lemieux is slightly better than Miranda

Jacobs vs Taylor would probably be a very good fight come to think of it

i actually thought Jacobs looked like a more disciplined Taylor vs GGG

Lemieux and Jacob's are so many levels above Miranda and Taylor, is the op really having trouble telling the gaps in talent and skills ???

Wow, new low even for here

I'd give the edge to GGG's wins over Lemieux and Jacobs based on what later happened in the careers of both Miranda and Taylor, but the argument can be made that Kelly ruined both of those guys. Let's see what happens with Lemieux and Jacobs, but man, both Miranda and Taylor's careers had a fast descent.

Edit: You can't ever underrate the greatness of Pavlik's win over Taylor, especially after that brutal knockdown. Dramatic, against the odds, great. Shoot, that win may trump them all.

Well Hopkins had a real reputation for messing up fighters and taylor fought him twice, Miranda i think just took too much punishment from pavlik. that fight was brutal

The truth is that JT was never that great to begin with, but it was a huge win for KP, who was thought of as too limited to beat Taylor by some. The better fighters are probably Lemmy and Jacobs, but as a win the Pavlik over Taylor win was huge, especially considering Taylor dropped Kelly so heavily. Great fight too, the best of the bunch, imo.

Lemieux and Jacobs are a better pair of wins.

    Miranda is the weak link.

I think Miranda and Taylor were better wins, simply because Pavlik was the underdog in both fights. GGG has never been an underdog that I can recall and he was heavily favored to beat both Lemieux and Jacobs.

Obviously Pavlik. Pavlik is finished though.. GGG has 3/4 more years.

    -Jacobs
    -Lemieux
    -Brook
    -Geale
    -Murray

    Is a decent set already.

    Potentially:

-Saunders (though i think he's all bluster)
-Canelo (though i don't care anymore)
    -Ramirez at 168
    -Degale at 168

He has a chance to surpass Pavliks resume in overall depth. Miranda is an overrated name massively.. He had one B- level win over Euro level Howard Eastman at 160 who was coming off back to back losses. Miranda has been surpassed at 160 by GGG multiple times already (Geale, Jacobs etc) Can someone tell me what semi decent MW Miranda beat at 160 or what titles he won? Taylor? No. Not on resume anyway.

It's a little bit early to judge this in my opinion. Personally though I would place these wins about even though with Lemieux on par with a prime Miranda and Jacobs on par with a prime Taylor.

Pavlick was a beast in his prime. I feel he could have possibly been as dominant as Golovkin is if the drink didn't get him. Would have given anybody at 160lbs problems in his prime.

Taylor is a better win than Jacobs by multiple levels.

He is a former undisputed lineal MW would champion whose best win is breaking Bernard Hopkins championship run.

Jacobs was a paper titlist whose best win is Jarrod Fletcher.

Taylor years later came back to MW shot to bits and beat Caleb Trux who was one of Jacobs paper title defences - then beat Soliman to become the IBF world champion.
Then the IBF strap fell into Lemiuex's hands after Taylor was taken away to the nut house.

Taylor is a better win than both Jacobs and Lemiuex put together. Adding Miranda on top of it boosts Pavlik ahead by a good distance.
