Nothing except what I could find on boxrec, which is that he is on a 3 fight KO/TKO streak. I don't see Miranda winning this, he looks bad at LtHW
Never heard of Agnew which makes this a strange fight for Miranda, since he still has some name value and could probably still land bigger fights than this if he wanted. This fight looks like all risk and little reward. The best names on Agnew's record are Rubin Williams and Daniel Judah but everyone beats those two anymore. Going only by his record Agnew is undefeated, was a good amatuer , and is a good sized light heavy. This could be a dangerous fight for Miranda and a good oppurtunity for Agnew.
Agree somewhat. I just dont see Miranda getting a big fight coming off a loss to Chilemba. Beating an undefeated 22-0 fighter might be all he needs to land that bigger name fight. Beating a few guys with losing records will do nothing for him at this point.
I use to spar with Cedric years ago as an amateur in Harvey, IL. As an amateur he was very good, but lost some pop as a pro. He has the skills to be a very good pro but needs to keep his head in the game. Above average speed, above average foot work, average power.
You're probably right, Miranda isn't going to walk right into another big fight immediately. Agnew seems like he's at the far end of risk/reward for Miranda and he probably could have gotten a fighter with a bigger name or less risk, but Miranda has always faced tough competition and credit to him for taking on an undefeated young guy with no name recognition. The good thing about this fight is that either Miranda wins and puts himself back into the mix, and no matter how someone rates Miranda he makes for fun fights. Or, Agnew wins and a young guy gets a big break here.
