This taken from his latest interview--

J.S: Talking about Kelly Pavlik. If he moves up to 168, you'd absolutely love a rematch?

E.M: I know I will avenge my loss to Kelly Pavlik. He is a great fighter, but my fight with him at 160 pounds was a mistake. I had to lose 47 pounds in less than six weeks. That nearly killed me! The result at 168 will be much different, and Kelly knows he needs to prove himself against me when I am healthy. I have no doubt the fans will demand that rematch fight one day.

J.S: There is no doubting your toughness and power. But aside from putting on weight, what other additions have you made to your game since losing to Pavlik?

E.M: I have been working hard on my movement and my defence in the ring. I am used to people running from me once they feel my power, but I simply did not have the power when I fought Pavlik, and he just kept coming. If I had been able to avoid his punches and make him miss, I'd have still been in the fight. So that's what I'm working on now, my defence and my movement.

Are you kidding me? he says in the interview that if he just avoided his punches and made him miss that he would win the fight. Well golly gee hit me with a piece of broccoli--I think id be able to beat any one too if they didnt hit me. Miranda is back to his old dumb ass ways talking smack after 1 fight. Give me a break.

OK, but why did he have to lose 47 pounds? Sounds like his lifestyle is as disciplined as his defense.

Miranda is going to be a force at 168, a good challenger for calzaghe. But I dont buy the whole "not up to strength" jive. He fought pavlik for the #1 contender spot, anyone in their right mind would have done anything they could to win that fight, Hes just sporting some jive to get a rematch and a payday now that Pavlik is the champ.

He admits he screwed up by gaining to much weight in between fights. HBO approached him with 6 weeks notice to take the fight. His team wanted to push it back, but he said he would be ready. He thought he wasn't human and could once again, for the 4th time in less than 8 months, be in top shape for a hard fight. He DID look past Kelly and did not train as hard. He thought it was going to be another day in the gym.

You know what, you learn from your mistakes. He 100% believes he would kick Kelly's ass in a rematch at 168lbs. He needs to prove it to the world and this time would bust his ass in the gym to be ready.

I hope to see it happen. No matter the result, it would be a freakin war!

Yea, stupid stupid thread. This guy came around before the Miranda fight. I think it is either Kelly's brother or lover!

Next time you talk up a **** storm only to go on and have your fighter lose stick around and face the music.

All of Miranda's losses are not his fault!

He's not a fraud, just a guy who hasn't or could not live up to big hype. Still, he's an exciting fighter who gives it 110 percent every fight...a credit to boxing.

Kelly doesn't need to fight him at 168 however

He got schooled by a injured Abraham.

    Wobbled by Eastman'

    Wobbled by Abraham

    KTFO by Pavlik.

Miranda cant take what he dishes out.

i think his punch resistance will be much better at 168, much like what happened with Cotto.

Broke Abraham's jaw, won more rounds, GOT ROBBED
KO'd Eastman (nobody else has ever hurt the guy, including Abraham)
KTFO by Pavlik, that's all you got. Revenge will be a ***** someday.

And it is quite obvious why all you Pavlik nuthugger ALL do not want a rematch, 'cause you know that was not Pantera in the ring and next time his punches are going to hurt and Kelly won't be the one in charge.

    Uh, he has TWO losses:

    www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=37138&cat=boxer

But no way is Miranda a "fraud." I don't think he'll beat Pavlik if they have a rematch, but he can still be a viable contender or belt-holder at 168.

I think we need not continue.

Next time your boy gets beat again show up and face the music. And he will get destroyed again.

All of your excuses as to why he lost wont substitute for his lack of skill.
