Miranda is a nobody at 168 who brings little to the table for Kessler

But at least both are top 20 p4p fighters who have fought at SMW! Miranda is not.

Other than Taylor on your list, who gives Kessler what he wants, a big fight in the USA?

No, Miranda is a big name, who brings a decent purse, an HBO date, and exposure to Kessler, and is a perfect comeback fight for him due to Miranda's name and beatable-ness, if there is such a word. As well as being beatable, (Kessler would win easily) he is dangerous, and nobody could accuse any fighter of taking an easy payday by fighting Miranda. He punches very hard and and is excellent going forward. He is technically flawed, but still a good fighter.

You may regard Kessler as a 'great person' and a holy messiah and all that, but he shoulda taken this fight. The only excuse he can have is that he is lining up a bigger fight, such as Taylor, or a title shot. But Miranda is a perfect fight for him at this stage.

Stieglitz is underrated. He only lost to Berrio once. He's certainly a better boxer than Miranda and would have a better chance against Kessler. You might not like his style as much as Miranda, but that doesn't mean he's not more proven than Miranda.

Who have they fought at SMW? Who has Winky fought? He never fought no 1 at 168 and Taylor fought Pavlik (who never fought at 168 or above 160 before that fight) at 166 (and weigh in at 164)

How much? What kind of money are we talking about? What seems fair to you might not sound fair to him.

It's not Miranda who gives Kessler a big fight in the USA...it's the American networks who have overhyped and overrated Miranda.

Miranda, himself, if he were British, say, and had never fought in the USA, wouldn't be a draw in the USA. Not more than Froch, for example, anyway...and Froch is better too!

He has no chance vs Kessler. Miranda at least has a puncher's chance....

You think Steilglitz can outbox Kessler? not really...

    Beside Taylor?

    Tito
    Winky
    Jones

They also bring a HELL of a lot more money! Not to mention legacy!

Winky is not a natural SMW and shouldn't even fight at over 160. But he is a top 20 p4p fighter who at least made a very close fight against Hopkins at 170 - and Hopkins is another top 24 p4p fighter...Miranda ain't.

Taylor fought Pavlik at 164 - close enough. He did better at 164 than at 160. He has since moved to 168. Taylor is top 20 p4p just about and he has fought Pavlik, who is Top 20 p4p at 4 pounds under 168.

Miranda cannot take Kessler down. Stieglitz lasts longer; in fact, I'd expect him to go 12 with Kessler and lose a wide UD...Miranda will get stopped by the 10th, however.

Braehmer and Stieglitz have proven their metal at 168...we know how good they are. Miranda is unproven. I only rate him slightly higher because I think he might be more talented. Might.
