Miranda is a nobody at 168 who brings little to the table for Kessler

Not tito and jones. Kessler would make money YES! but he would be
slagged for beating old hasbeens. And winky for the record turned a kessler fight down.

 

Yeah but the common american would tune in to see Jones fight. So great exposure for kessler, and a name on the record.

Pretty much the same as the Calzaghe - Hopkins fight for Calzaghe!

 

I don't think Lacy or Wright will draw more interest than Miranda, - but if rjj or taylor is an option those would possibly be more lucrative

 

Wright is a bigger name and Lacy is an easier opponent who is ranked higher at 168 than Miranda!

 

True to an extent, because the American audience jury is in that Winky fights suck. The American audience is sold that win or lose a Miranda fight is some **** to tune in for. If the goal at all for Kessler is American exposure, and he can't get either Taylor or Jones Jr., then Miranda makes pretty good sense.

 

Not to mention, we keep bringing up the fact that Taylor would be so much better, but he IS coming off of 2 straight losses and just coming UP to 168.

 

Well we can argue on the fact that the ref saved Abraham at one point when Miranda was about to finish him and that the broken jaw wasn't caused by a headbutt and the rest time he got was not fair and that it shoudve been a TKO for Miranda at that point.

Green was saved by the bell really but no excuse, Miranda shoudve finished him earlier:yep.

Pavlik well he is one class above Miranda...Even if Miranda claims he was weight drained no excuses there ethier. Pavlik proved his chin thought and Kessler didn't...yet


Finally i don't say Kessler won't beat Miranda (i have Kessler by late stoppage), I just say this is the best option for him at the moment since he is not a big name in the US and that he represents a high risk low reward fighter for the likes of Jones, Tito and especially Taylor. Beating Miranda would get him on the map in the US and make him more attraying to the names i mentionned above. Thats it.

Oh and by the way yes, Steilglitz has better chance of making 12 rounds with Kessler but Miranda actually has better chance of winning since he could KO Kessler while Steilglitz could not. None of them can decision Kessler ethier (except if Miranda scores a bunch of knockdown and can't finish him:hey). Finally what would a fight against Steilglitz bring Kessler? Money? Nah. US exposure? Nope. So why fight him?

 

That would actually be a great fight. A all out war and i think Lacy is a bad match of styles for Miranda but Miranda would do better against the other top 10 guys then Lacy...

Kessler TKO's him but that fight can make sense IMO.

 

Miranda is a good fight for Kessler.

Miranda is exciting and can hype a fighter.

If Kessler doesn't get ko'd and can avoid Mirandas power then he wins every round.

It's a great comeback fight.

 

yea its a good comeback fight for Kessler but obviously there are alot of better fights out there and if he can sign someone else then he should forget about Miranda who really isn't worth much
