Miranda is a nobody at 168 who brings little to the table for Kessler

See, I think a tune up in his back yard might be ok, but it should've been done about now or within the next month. Obviously that's out of the question at this point in time. Despite the loss, he showed some heart and guts at least. He was just badley outclassed by an excellent fighter. He needs to jump on that horse ASAP.

I might favor Kessler in this, partly because I haven't seem how Miranda looks @ 168, and also due to Kessler's effective 1-2.

 

overrated? who over rates miranda besides pantera 2000? sensible posters see him for what he is, an exciting but very limited slugger. out of all fighters, punchers i.e mayorga, hamed..... get the most hype because of what they bring. the same reason fighters like wright, etc..never get any hype because of their style.

it's not like you have'nt been overhyping the hell out of bute every chace you get. if the trash talk gets you're feelings hurt better watch another sport, cause these guys for the most part are trying to make a living anyway they can.

Yeah Kesller is running away from a nobody :good . . . so he's not gonna lose anything. If Kesller is running away from a title holder that's gonna look bad . . . in this case he fought JC and refused to fight a HYPED opponent . . . so this is just fine.

But again make no mistake about this . . . I want Kesller to fight your boii . . . so you and him can shut up for good.

Why would he run from fighting Calzaghe? He is the true champ, and a top P4P fighter. There was HUGE money on the table. A win puts Kessler on top of the world. A loss, well, it keeps him close to where is was. Just not quite as high as you Kessler nuthuggers think he is.

Now he needs a comeback fight. A loss to Miranda (a ko loss it would be) would drop Kessler way way down. A win gets him that big fight he is looking for. Miranda is a killer. If he KOs you, it is gonna hurt, physically, mentally and financially. Does Kessler have the balls to take that chance? Not looking like it. :yep

 

He brings a name.

He brings a style that will put asses in seats.

He brings a defense that Kessler can easily penetrate.

He brings a chin that Kessler can and should easily dent.

He brings Mikkel an opportunity to clean house in a division where right now, he is the heir apparent, and no more.

He probably brings him a high six figure payday.

What more does Miranda need to bring to the table? Why would it be such a disaster to make this fight? Assuming he decides to stay at 168, and assuming that Bute wants another year to beat up on the Joppys of the world, who ELSE should he fight?

 

Was there a discussion. Was Bute offered a fight on HBO against Miranda.

how much did Miranda make for the Banks fight? Like 30K? I garantee you that if they offered Kessler 500K he most be laughing his ass off right now. Like Sean said. He could make that kind of money to fight a bum he picked up on the street while driving to the arena.
