Miranda is gonna have a tough fight on his hands..

Yep, he did the same thing witht the Pavlik fight with Taylor and look at what happend to him then. No way is Banks near the Pavlik caliber but regardless.....didnt the Miranda learn his lesson?

 

Although I agree that you should never look past an opponent, what can Banks do to Miranda? show him how pretty he is? Miranda will starch his azz in less than 7 rounds.

 

As a result of Miranda underestimating Banks, Daves head will sail out of the ring at 50 miles per hour rather than the originally estimated 100 mph.

 

lost to peter manfredo and to paul smith which both are not even close to pantera's level. no contest

 

I suggest you guys check out Mirandas last fight against Porras, even though he stopped the guy, he struggled more than he should have, and as usually his defense was non existent.

I think Banks will give him problems teh first 4 or 5 rounds, but then Miranda will break himdown and take him apart.

Miranda looked very good against Porras. He stopeed him earlier than other top name fighters, and dominated each round.

And Pantera is NOT looking past Banks to fight Pascal. He doesnt care to fight Pascal. He says he wants the winner of Taylor/Pavlik. He will only fight Pascal as a last option.

 

Banks is getting KTFO.

true but porras is a pretty decent fighter top 100 fight and only loss to the best

and besides it looked like miranda was instructed to box and move. maybe not the fireworks we usually see but that jab is looking good...not great but at last he is using his reach.

i dont know, i think he looked better b/c he actually was making effective use of a jab instead of just laying it out there.

 

To his credit he said 'if he doesn't starch him early', but still, Banks is not anything to talk about.
