It appears, like many punchers, Miranda does not have the greatest set of whiskers.

Where Arthur Abraham fights like Winky Wright, with half the punches and double the power.

 

Funny how some will consider him "shot" after that fight like he was never hurt BADLY against Eastman, dropped by Green, hurt many times by Abraham in the first fight(before and after he got his jaw broken), destroyed by Pavlik and now completely thrashed by Abraham in the catchweight he wanted and first time overseas for Abraham. Miranda had all the advantages he wanted based on his very own excuses and he got destroyed, pretty simple, "weight drained" against Pavlik WASN'T the case, it was Pavlik's punches and Miranda's chin as Abraham proved today and would've done so in the first fight but the jaw injury stopped him.

 

Was Taylor right when he called him OVVVVVVERRRRRATED. bUT i LIKE mIRANDA, he just talks so much **** like Mayorga and might get his ass whooped like him pretty soon

His trash talking wasn't completely TRASH in his view, he clearly had a list of excuses and weight was one of them which got a lot of people to accept and believe till tonight. That was more disrespectful and cheap than anything, at least Mayorga just talks junk without the need to bring up bullcrap excuses to cover up a loss. :good

 

Honestly I dont even listen to him when he talks and I could care less. Mayorga is funny to me because I think he really means it. Some of the **** Miranda says sounds like to jr high kids cbagging on each other :-(. But I cant stand a fighter that makes excuses :good But Roy had a legit excuse with the weight

 

Sure did and Tarver's same excuse after the Hopkins fight silenced him for talking trash about it. :good

 

That was sad, I lost so much respect for Tarver after that. Then the Bryd fight he just looked stupid talking about it in the studio. But I met Tarver before and he is real cool

I was rooting for Miranda but the guy just has no defense, he got knocked out but a telegraphed hayemaker while going straight back instead of side to side. Abraham seems to have very good power but as far as boxing skill Im not that impressed, but it was agood win Miranda is a tough scrap for anyone,
Miranda fought a stupid fight. Oh well at least now the plot thickens and we have a lot of good potential matchups at 168 I would like to see Abraham vs Kessler and the winner vs Pavlik.
