Miranda, Kessler equals a never ending story

Is it possible that these emotional press releases and the rumors that the fight if on and off an on and off... are just part of the promotion?

No other cancelled fight excited the boxing community this year as this one... All forums full of raging fans, every major site made their articles on the story... it sounds like a perfect build-up for me... and if it isn't a build-up... both team should jump on the opportunity after a weeks of free advertisement.

 

I'll agree to that. I think Palle just screwed up big time. I really don't think fighters would be at that level if they really didn't want to get into the ring against the other top guys. I'm just torqued at the guys that believe it is MANDATORY for Miranda's people to 'pull a Palle'.

The reality is, there was a deal. The papers were drawn up as per the items in the deal. Palle then tried to say Miranda's people reneged! Then we find out the truth. No way around this. They lied to try and make Miranda's people look bad and divert the blame from themselves for backing out. I don't care WHAT the reason was. They lied trying to make Miranda's people look bad. That pretty much looks like the facts of it.

 

Kessler will fight anybody, but most of all he wants to be champ again. He has told Team Palle to get him a title fight, and they will do anything they can to make that happen.

Miranda was turned away (not a very nice move) when Kessler became WBA-mandatory, but since Mundine did not want a rematch with Kessler it seems Team Palle has tried to make up for their treatment of Miranda by making a Miranda-Kessler title fight possible.

Mirandas feelings might be hurt, but I think that he will take the fight eventually.
