Yep, Pantera2000 is obviously somehow affiliated with Miranda, and like his annoying promoters, spews garbage claiming everyone is ducking Miranda. He should tell Miranda to beat a top-10 ranked SMW instead of guys like Porras or Banks if wants to fight guys like Bute or Kessler.

Maybe he shouldn't of got KTFO by Pavlik, that might of helped his cause a bit, no?

I respect Miranda. He tries to face whoever is up there, and somehow gets the fights also - despite his limited skills.

I agree with the rest, but it was a good fight for Miranda - hopping over alot of people who had deserved Kessler more - so I understand their disappointment - Pantera and Pantera2000 both.

Maybe Palle is trying to make DiBella angry, since neither Taylor nor Miranda are in any good position for Kessler or anyone else with a pulse anymore.

Sorry, but Kessler isn't ducking anyone. He's a former SMW champ (and current recognized #1 SMW) and faced and beaten guys that Miranda can only dream of being.

Yes, Miranda is willing to fight anyone, but so is every other fighter for the right price. Miranda should fight a guy like Brahmer, Lacy, Tyspko, Froch, etc if he wants to be taken seriously.

I don't like it - but the fight shouldn't have been so far into negotiations. Miranda would be a good rebound fight for Kessler, but it would never amount to anything else. Miranda was a dangerous fighter at 160, but not really top notch - he haven't even done anything at 168, that at least the top 5 haven't done already(kicking Porras ass) - and that was years ago.

Last I heard though, was that DiBella offered a contract below what was agreed upon - and therefore Miranda ended up with the short end of the stick.

A lot of Kessler fans living in denial on this thread. Embarassing.

Miranda is rated in the top 7 in every super middleweight organization. He is a legitamate opponent for an ex-champ who just lost his last fight. Not just that, he is also well known in the states and people watch his fights because they tend to be exciting. If you want great exposure fight Miranda.

We're not in denial. It's just that we're waiting for an official statement from Kessler's team first. Why comment when we haven't heard from both camps?

Also, does anyone know why number 5 is in the contract?

Florida has a very large latino population. Miranda is from Colombia and there are alot of Colombians there. Plus he now lives in Puerto Rico, and between Florida and New York there are more Puerto Ricans then they have in Puerto Rico. It would in a sence be almost like fighting in Miranda's backyard. Not really sure why they didnt want it held on Indian land, that one blows my mind.

Lastly, Yes kessler fans are in denial and making themselves look pretty bad on this one. This is coming from a person that is a fan of neither Miranda or Kessler.

I have no problem with Kessler taking an easy fight after his poor showing vs Cazalghe, but he should have never agreed to fight Miranda and then pulled out. Not a good sign no matter how Team Pelle tries to spin it, and they will put a spin on it. Just as they did when they called out Lacy and then backed out when Lacy called the bluff.

    Generalization is a bad thing.

As I have said earlier - I don't like it.

In regards to the rest - anyway you want to look at it as spining - maybe you should consider that most of the spins are made by - media. Some suck up everything fed to them - others don't.

    English

Mikkel Kessler rejects that fear made him cancel a fight between him and the Colombian Miranda in the 11th hour, as Miranda says.
"Of course I´m not afraid to face Miranda. But I want to become a world champion again, I wont become that facing Miranda but against Mundine. So it´s obvious, I´ll take that chance to get my belt back Mikkel Kessler says to Ekstra Bladet.
Mikkel Kessler has previously faced Mundine, and that fight had a Danish winner, but Kessler rejects that a new fight against the Australian will be a guaranteed win.
" Nope, that´s not how the piano plays. The first fight against him was maybe the toughest of my career, and it will be hard again, because Mundine has improved. He is also an awkward type, so the fight will not be easy.
