First of all, Hi :hi: second... I'm not saying Miranda looks ripped so he's going to knock Ward out, ok? I'm just saying I just saw a pic of him in the front page of ESB and think he looks healthy, he doesn't look drained to me. I'm saying this because I kind of believe he wasn't at his best in the Pavlik and second Abraham fight. Not that I want to take away from their perfomances, which were great (mainly Pavlik's perfomance, Abraham was more of a spectacular KO), but I did think Miranda looked different (maybe it was just the lvl of comp.) and made sure I paid attention to his next ig fight, and if Miranda looks to me the same way he did against Kelly and Arthur than that's just it, no weight excuses will be acceptable, if so, just move up to lightheavyweight :good. By the way, I think Ward is going to pull off the win, what do you guys think? :bbb
Physically he always looks good his problem is his lack of skills,i expect Ward to clearly beat him but you cant count a big puncher out.
Yes I know he looked ripped before the 2nd Abraham fight, but I also thought he looked a bit dry, right now he looks... healthy. We'll see, I don't count him out either, I just think Ward is going to exploit (like you said>) his lack of skills :good
He's had a lot of struggles with weight. Hopefully he has gotten down properly. I read yesterday that Miranda said food is his drug of choice and was coming down from a crazy 240 when he fought Abraham in the rematch. He just beat Joey Vegas in March at 178 so hopefully he didn't blow-up between then and now. He might just be ready. Looking forward to the fight - excellent match-up and dangerous for both men.
It wasnt 240, it was 224lbs. Bad interpretation from writer. He stayed in shape since the Vegas fight, so weight isnt going to be an issue. Yea, he looked great before the Abraham fight. And he wasnt so dried out either. He just ate like a rabbit for 8 weeks to lose the 58lbs to make weight. For this fight he is eating well and been at weight a week before the fight. No excuse!
