Miranda is always going back to beating total bums in a bunch of tune up fights. Then he has 2 wins, everybody gets excited how he learned how to punch with both hands and has this amazing stamina and condition, and then they put him in the ring with a random top 10 fighter and he gets knocked out. Rinse and repeat.
Miranda should join the Hypejob/exposed Super 6 with the following Kelly Pavlik Jermain Taylor Jeff Lacy Peter Manfredo and Kessler once he loses against Froch
I actually thought Miranda looked good in the first two rounds last night and thought that you could make a case for him winning either. He'll never be an elite fighter, but I could still see him still beating Stieglitz and wouldn't mind seeing him in with guys like Andrade and Bika. He also would make a good gatekeeper to gauge up and comers.
Miranda probably knows he's a bum but has to maximise his earnings. He'l just be a gatekeeper and keep getting kayod in every fight.
I'm waiting for his excuse for this one. His nutritionist beat him up again?, weight wasn't good enough(Maybe heavyweight is his proper weight?)?, he had a fever again?, his shoes weren't as asked for?, locker room was too small possibly?, his trainer is no good?, his chin is glass?
man im a miranda fan......but my boi is shot.....that hurt watching that ko... he fought better though
Miranda reminds me of Judah fast hard hitting fun to watch but cant break through to the top level. Judah did. But I hold them similar. They have become stepping stones. Miranda can beat a lot of fighters but he won't win a belt and he is just going down hill. He is a good boxer but he is missing something. Its hard to say glass jaw cuz Abraham and Pavlik and Bute all hit very hard but he keeps getting KO'd. He has tools a good jab some ok combos he hits the body and is very explosive. After Abraham 2 he won 2 fights and showed improvement. I thought hey with the Super 6 and the talent pool gone Miranda could feast on bottom tier guys and take a title shot vs bottom tier belt holder Stieglitz and with some tune ups leading up to it and continued improvement he might have a shot. But I doubt it cuz Stiegllitz is tough and would survive and Miranda would lose. But instead of taking a several year road of builidng his way up and mastering his skills he rushes to fight arguably the best SMW and gets KO'd. Miranda was in no rush seeing as the super 6 is gonna be a few more years enough time to build up and get a belt. Lotta talent poorly managed
