Let me go on the record to say I wish him the best of luck on Saturday. Colombian or not he comes to fight and I appreciate that.

I agree with these posts. He didn't learn from the politicians. Increase your fan base as much as possible. If he really can't stomach his country of birth, then just keep quiet about it since he still has a big following there.

What he meant is that a small remote village in Florida with a population of 42 is 90% Colombian.

George is mad because Miranda is getting PR ***** and he is not.....:yep

Just ****ing with you George but I do see your point.

However, I dont think Miranda has no "love" for Colombia the land that saw him born you know. Maybe he is just trying to build his fan base in PR which is a country big on boxing unlike Colombia where most people follow soccer you know.

    Right.

Personally if he wants to represent PR, I see nothing wrong with it. That kinda stuff has no real meaning to me anyways. Hell if he wants to represent Pluto, I'm fine with it.

First off a hell of a lot of more people come in from Puerto Rico than they do from Colombia to see him fight. And in south florida, there are tons of Latinos from every country. There are a lot of Colombians, but there are just as many Puerto Ricans, depends on the city you live.

I am glad you 'changed' your story here. First you said he **** on all the Colombian fans. Never said one thing bad about Colombia, he still loves Baranquilla and has tons of friends from there.

You want to talk about marketing? Puerto Rico LOVES LOVES LOVES boxing. Colombia LOVES LOVES LOVES futbal. As much as Puerto Rico cares about soccar is as much as Colombia cares about boxing. Lucky for Edison he has made a home and family on an island that not only love his sport, but have taken him in as their own.

He used to wear both flags for his fights. He recently only wears the Puerto Rican flag because that is where he feels the support and love and wants to show back the respect.

I happen to be American with no ties to any other country. I have liked Miranda when he was 100% support of only Colombia, and I still like him as he is today. I dont give two shits where someone is from or who they support. I like styles and entertainment. Miranda is an entertainer and I will always support him.
