In 2007 Pavlik beat the brakes off Miranda.

    In 2008 Abraham sparked Miranda.

    in 2009 Ward dominated Miranda.

Last Saturday night was nothing more than Edison's annual ass whoppin'!

I am here! I got back in town late Sunday and was playing catchup these last two days (and avoiding boxing altogether :| )

Wow, those stats for Miranda really suck! I remember seeing the stats after the Pavlik fight and they were similar to this. I guess even Goossen cant change who Miranda is. Oh well. I still like him. He is more entertaining against the Banks of the world though!

Your support for Edison reminds me of my support for Bronco McKart. Bronco is 39 years old, and even in his current shot to **** condition, he still beats the crap out of club fighters and journeyman. In his last fight he fought a good club fighter, and shut the dude out 100-90 across the board.

Where as McKart is a boxer/counter puncher, Miranda is a KO artist. Like Bronco, Edsion will probably always lose the big ones, but even when he's old as the hills, he'll still be sparkin' mother****ers.

Well he was at least being active and boxing in a disciplined, fundamentally solid manner until he lost his marbles. The first two rounds were close. I've always thought very highly of Joe Goosen.

It shows that, good as Bute is, he's still vulnerable to controlled, educated pressure.

    :good

The thing about Bute is, we know he's really good, but he doesn't LOOK good so much. He slips punches well, defends well with his left hand high, but he always looks kinda crappy to me.

And then BOOM! He throws some uppercut or unorthodox punch that totally surprises his opponent, and it's over

miranda was missing a lot... and when bute actually decided to step up the pressure.. he KO'd miranda...

i'm not sure if it's just me... but miranda seems way too small for the SMW division...he should be at 154....

Is that a joke? Miranda came into the ring at 185 pounds while weighing in at 167. That's nearly 20 lbs. The guy walks around at 200 +

Asking him to make 160, nevermind 154, would require removing his legs.

not a joke... i'm not talking about weight...i'm talking about size in height... he was way smaller than pavlik & bute and even abraham... he did at one point fight at 160... but if he continues fighting at SMW, he'll just keep gettin' destroyed... :rofl

My god you're the most ******ed poster I have seen on the boards lately.

He's 5'10 with a 77½ inch reach, and has never weighed in at under 160lbs in his career, he weighed MORE than Bute on fightnight, and more than Arthur/Pavlik on fight night aswell. What the **** are you on about, 154lbs?

How is he even able to make 154lbs with his muscle tone at that height/reach? Use your little pea brain for once, imbecile.

are you stupid or what? i'm talking about his performances at those weights (160,168)...it doesn't matter if he weighed more than those fighters on fight night... so if you're saying just because he weighs more on fight night that he can actually "compete" on that level? my suggestion is for him to move down in weight if he actually could because he's not having an success at the higher weights.... so before you start throwing insults, re-read what i wrote... :patsch

You're a joker, how does he cut down to that weight with his muscle tone and height/wing span?:rofl

Miranda actually didn't look too bad until he posed and got KTFO, seriously Bute wasn't beating him down or anything yet, but Bute with 1 shot turned his lights out.
