I think I'm one of the few truly unbiased posters here, who likes both guys - who bear Miranda no grudge whatsoever for being the exciting slugger he is, but recognize that Abraham is a top talent. One of the few who do not think a rematch would be an unnecessary outrage, but also don't think it's crucial that one happen to correct some perceived wrong. The middle of the road is a clear path.
What compounds the situation is the fact that Sturm is also foghting a no-name so both German champs are taking a lot of flak. I know the division is very shallow but there are at least 15-20 fighters better than Ayala.
sanctioning bodies means sweet FA in the real world and the only reason Elcock breached the top ten is because the division is that weak
So tell me but please take into account that Lee, Duddy, Quillin, Jabcobs, Greene wouldn't go near AA (thanks to their managements plus they are still prospects). Give me a seasoned contender at middleweight which should fight AA...
they should try to get a abraham - sturm fight made. would a fight between two title holding domestic fighters be big in germany? that fight would be more respectable than something like abraham - ayala.
Are you numb? I told ya before... Best thing to put it is what the president of the IBF said: No one in our rankings can or could compete with AA - this is a testament to the division... :deal
Ray joval,Asikainen or even Sylvester - although i suppose there aren't many others available.I didn't know that they tried Soliman and Winky is impossible to deal with. I like AA a lot, but us fight fans are an impatient bunch. We want to see one champ at each weight.Abraham/Pavlik will be a great fight and with the likes of Lee,Green Quillan and Golovkin around the corner the middleweight division might get very exciting again
Sturm turned down $3 mio to fight AA - 2 times...this should tell you the story WHY it won't happen anytime soon...
