Miranda targets Bute

After Mikkel Kessler suddenly pulled out of the highly anticipated fight with Edison Miranda, it left Miranda wondering who would be his next opponent. Miranda has made it very clear that he will fight anyone anywhere as long as the offer is somewhat reasonable, and he has backed this up. However, as of now, no one has stepped up to bat. So, he is calling out Lucian Bute to step up and take the challenge. “I find it frustrating that I’m simply trying to fight the best in the world and no one will offer me a shot. I know many writers and fans think I talk a lot of trash, but at the end of the day I bring excitement into the ring. I am willing to fight the best out there and Bute is the champion of the world so I am asking him to be a man and fight me”.

Bute reportedly does not have a fight scheduled and is also looking for a voluntary defense of his title sometime near May. Miranda stated “I am willing to go into his backyard and fight him. If he does not take this fight, than he is a coward just like Mikkel Kessler”.

 

bute lovers? i've noticed a good deal of his fans here, but they aren't outrageous.

Well in all fairness Miranda hasn't earned a shot at a SMW-champion - but that should of course not stop him from calling them out

Bute has talks going on already - reportedly with Mads Larsen - after Larsen (if he wins) then mandatory Andrade will be waiting. That leaves Miranda loads of time to earn a shot - target some of the IBF-ranked fighters - try something new and earn the shot!

 

I think Larsen would win against Miranda!

Miranda should just fight Pascal

 

Look, miranda doesn't deserve a shot at bute or kessler. What, does he get to jump ahead of andrade who just won his eliminator for the IBF?
And kessler would be taking a big step back if he fought miranda. A fight pantera has very little chance of winning. Miranda needs to fight a
live body at 168 first. What happened to the pascal fight that was suppossed to happen? Did miranda chicken out of that? Because i know for a fact pascal wanted that fight.

Bute is looking for an opponent to fight an optional title defense. If the money is there, I guess this fight could happen.

 

Miranda fans are the worst, nobody is afraid of Miranda. The reality is that Bute's team will get him an even better fight and I can't wait to see what Kessler's team did, I'm sure it's a pretty good move being that they ceased negotiations.

Who really even gives a **** about Miranda, he has yet to face a top 20 SMW and look good.

 

BUte would ko MIranda....Miranda was not even the top of a lower division...he hasn't earned a shot so he is trying to earn it with his mouth...we all heard him talk prior to pavlik.
