Miranda targets Bute

well, even if this is true, it hardly means he should get a title shot. he should try the highest rated guy to fight. i would say there is less than 5% chance of a fight with Bute right now. and no it isn't becasuse Bute is scared.

 

I think that Bute should take this fight and shut the loud mouth for a long time. Miranda would have his face up his ass after 8 rounds and would wave the towel at the 10th with his liver up his throat.

The guy as taken two C class at SMW and he thinks the Champ should give him a run at his belt, let's be real. Kessler is no way afraid of him, he is just planning a possible fight for Danny Green's vacant title at LHW.

And for people who think Bute is avoiding punchers, I would say your not quit familiar with how Bute is fast enough not to get tag and fast enough to jab his way all night. I'm not even mentionning his left hand...

Bell Center is reserved by Interbox for May 23rd, and that's when Bute will have his second optionnal defense prior to Andrade in September.
So there is a possibility this fight might happen, I call this one a warm-up before the real challenges ahead.

I, for one, am very happy about this. Miranda is a Top 10 guy. He is a live, dangerous opponent. This would be a very good second voluntary defence for Bute.

Also, it would allow Bute to be better known in the USA, through Showtime, if they're still interested - hope they are...I just love their shows!:yep

Miranda is a big name in the USA and he is overrated there as well - beating Miranda would do wonders for Bute's image in the USA...where people either don't know him or have doubts about how good he really is.

Bute is hoping to get a fight against Taylor or Pavlik one day, and a fight against Miranda can only help, right?

Let's hope this fight gets made! Except for Taylor or Pavlik, this is the best fight out there for Bute at this stage. This fight is better than Allan Green, better than any of the opponents we were hoping for Bute...

I am delighted about this offer and hope Interbox do everything they can to make it happen.

Not least, I've got to say again: Well done to Miranda for wanting to fight the best. He even said he'd come and fight in Montreal where it would be a huge fight! I really hope the money side of things can be sorted and that Interbox say YES!!!:happy :happy :happy

Well at least Miranda has some balls, you would think he would take it easy after the beating Pavlik gave him but he goes after the best SMW in the world now that Joe moved up. He couldn't get Kessler, now he is going after another top 3 SMW in Bute. I think he should fight Pascal if he will get in the ring with him.

If not then Miranda should go after Andrade, it's a bad styles matchup for Miranda but if he could get to Andrade with the perfect right hand and manage to stop him then his stock moves up greatly.

Props to Miranda, he is a smart ass especially for being as crude a boxer as he is but is a great **** talker and is good for boxing with the fights he tries to make.

 

A lot of stuff happens backstage in boxing that not every knows about.

Let interbox answer this challenge before we start picking them appart.

Anyway, Pascal is not ready for a big fight yet...he needs another good couple of months, by all accounts...

Also, if Bute beats Miranda, well, that will just be two fingers up at GYM, who are hoping Bute will lose. Interbox will have "stolen" Pascal's opponent!

 

You are right about this one, but Pascal is still out for a couple of months with his shoulder problems.

If Bute has an optional date in May and Miranda was scheduled to fight in May then they should get this one on.

 

Allright he's better than average (and yes you are correct about seeing 2 of his fights). He is physically gifted beyond believe but not mentally strong enough to harness it all. Bute on the other hand is the real deal imo

 

Bute said he expected his next fight to be mid May. The Miranda v. Kessler fight was planned for a week later...it's perfect timing!:happy
