Pascal needs to pick up his game before he reaches the top at SMW. So far, he faced nobody important, I am willing to give him a year or two to be ready, anything before that would have no interest boxing wise, even if they would fill 20k people any day.
And Miranda agreed to do it where Bute wants it, in his backyard. Sounds like a win/win for everyone. I hope Interbox reacts to this soon!
I sent them numerous emails and informed the local medias of the challenge of Miranda. They won't have a choice but to react to it. But usually Interbox do not comment that kind of stuff. They never talk about fights unless the contracts are signed.
Yeah...I don't understand why people want to rush him; he's young, he pushed himself too hard and even fought with an injury...he needs to take his time, improve and then he'll have a good chance against anyone; I don't see why some people want to throw him to the wolves before he's ready...what's the rush?
Yeah but I believe it only has 12000 seats compare to close to 22000 for the Bell Centre. Not to mention GYM has an event scheduled at the Uniprix Stadium on June 7th. No way they would let Interbox make event there on May 24th. I could be wrong. I'm just saying...
Wasn't he the one talking smack to Miranda? Wasn't he the one talking about he was going to pick Miranda apart with his skilll? Didn't he almost get KTFO by a prospect less developed than him? It seems to me that he doesn't have the hand speed nor power to be a force , maybe he should try to move to 160 if he wants to make boxing his career.
The problem I have with a mentally weak fighter (like Pascal) is that it is something that they cannot fix, so most of the time I would rather see them get demolished just to get the hype over with . Not to mention he started **** with Miranda, so back your mouth up and get in there!
My source at Interbox confirmed me that Friday May 23rd is reserved for Bute's second optionnal defense.
