Its not Pascal who doesn't want to fight Miranda anymore. Its the TV networks that are no longer interested, and therefore neither is Miranda.
Lucian has a very good chin, mate! His defence is also improving and he is quite good on his feet...won't be easy. Miranda plants his feet when swinging, unlike Berrio who is more unpredictable, punching in a fluid, unexpected way...
sounds more like an excuse for Miranda. "The networks don't want it, so I'm not interested. Pascal is a nobody"
For Bute, Fighting Miranda on Showtime would definitely be the ideal scenario in his voluntary defence as he would become an instant star after beating him and banking in some interesting purses for the immediate future... Miranda's no walk in the park but the reward easily outweighs the risk for me !!
I don't recall seeing a '' very good gate keeper quality fighter '' like Miranda... being hyped to what he has been up to now ! It's insane how Warrior Promotions has done an unbelievable job with Miranda !! His time is now but it won't last folks...hold your breath...
It would actually be ironic to see Bute dispatch of Miranda on Showtime in front of a packed Bell Centre....knowing that it's initially Jean Pascal's management that had targeted a fight with Miranda over the last 6-8 months, only to back off because Jean Pascal now wants no part of Miranda...
Well, since GYM are so kindly training Bute's opponents and giving them tips on how to beat him, the least they can do is hype them up a bit before Bute beats them. How ironic that Pascal, after calling Miranda out and hyping him in Montreal, would end up his sparring partner...
....but I'm not even sure Pascal is ready to spar with Omar Pittman right now....never mind Miranda ! :yep
Well...Lacy said he was ready for a big fight again, so I tried to hype up a Bute v. Lacy fight. Nothing came of it because HBO announced the opponent chosen for Lacy was so little known (read: bum) that their fight wouldn't even be shown as part of the HBO PPV card...(!!!). Latest rumour I heard was that Lacy was fighting Allan Green on the 31st of May...(presumably HBO PPV would air that one)... I haven't heard Lacy's name linked with Miranda, though...:conf
