Miranda had to deal with Herr NEUMANN's obvious partiality as well as the fight officials, judges, & even the doctor. He took his foot off the pedal because he could see what a circus and joke that fight was and wasn't completely certain of what was coming next from outside the ring.

It is laughable that you could watch the fight and not note the obvious circumstances affecting Miranda's ability to pursue the fight to its expected conclusion ... fortunately there will be another day to redress or compensate for the thievery and underhandedness of those associated with Abraham and his promotor.

Better hope Abraham has learned how to defend himself without the assistance of a team of corrupt officials ...

 

This is a great matchup between two very strong fighters with power, endurance and chin.

I believe Abraham has the edge in the chin dept. and I also see him being stronger than Miranda. They have similar power. If this goes the distance its going to be close. But my money would clearly be on Abraham.

I see Abraham winning this by late KO or TKO. round 9/10 or so.

That so-called team of corrupt officials were not fighting inside the ring.
Abraham -with a shattered jaw and and looking as pale as a vampire's victim due to his huge blood loss-hurt his healthy opponent several times in the later rounds of their match.

That so-called team of corrupt officials didnt connect with some telling shots almost taking Miranda out in round 9.No,Sir,it was Abraham who was fighting in the ring.

Damn! Miranda wasnt able to take out an severely injured opponent. I just dont get it how the hell people like you think that Miranda will excactly do this to a healthy version of Abraham.

By the way do you honestly think that Miranda would have survived 8 long rounds with a shattered jaw against a healthy Abraham ?
Easy to blame the ref,some sinister officials,Abraham,and Abraham 's promoter,isnt it!
Nevertheless,Miranda was the one who had 8 long rounds at his disposal to take out a severly injured fighter who was losing tons of blood in every round.
Abraham wouldnt have gone 8 long rounds with Pavlik,Winky,or some other decent middle weights that night. No way!

 

Folks are really looking forward to this one because of how the first one went.

I believe that the panther has had his confidence shaken since then and that if he couldn't finish Arthur the first time, with a broken jaw, he won't be up to it this time either.

Yep! Whoever calls himself a box aficionado is looking forward to watching the rematch between ABraham and Miranda.

Their first encounter was breathtakingly exciting and oustandingly entertaining due to the countless dramatical moments in their fight.
However,Miranda was the supporting actor in that film-Abraham was the main character and most important person in that movie.
Miranda only played his role according to the script,but Abraham won the oscar for his outstanding part in that film.
He could have died that night,but kept fighting despite being in a horrible condition. The ring looked like a slaughterhouse after 12 bloody rounds.
There are not that many fights which have been as outstandingly exciting as Abraham vs Miranda.
Who really wants to miss their rematch??

 

YEP. You just confirmed it was scripted with a decision decided before the fight ever took place. He gets the Oscar for having the balls to accept the tainted win. Not that he did it with a straight face.....:nut

My favorite part of the film, and I think where Arthur stole the show, was when he reached down and grabbed his nuts when he was clearly hit above the beltline.
The way he took a few seconds and looked at Neuman with that sad face and bent over was just priceless. I hear he may be the next Harry Potter.

 

dont know how this plays out, as i dont really follow abraham. but i'm rooting hard for miranda.

 

You missed an earlier thread where he went into how badly Abrahams jaw was and all of the blood he was losing and I told him he had perfectly described a TKO! He is obviously passionate about this. I'm starting to wonder if he is related.

No matter, he is entitled to his opinion and I have a feeling this next fight will be settled in the ring. Same the money and don't hire judges. :deal

I have no dog in this fight, but I'll be rooting for Miranda. He comes to fight and he does a few things on instinct that I like. You can train and polish a boxer all you like, but in the end, with enough fights, I would favor the instinct.

If Abraham comes out of his shell and mixes it up, I will think more highly of him. Thirty seconds of boxing and 2:30 of peek-a-boo doesn't cut it for me. I'm sure he knows that won't get him very far here, but can you break the habits that have gotten you where you are?

Abraham ran around the ring with HERR NEUMANN chasing and touching and warning Miranda not to hurt Abraham while the officials interposed their authority on the fight looking for breaks, point assessments, and any other bull**** to influence the fight because their boy wasn't tough enough and needed an abundance of help to hold on to their meal ticket (i.e., the belt on the line).

He complained about non-low punches like a ***** and begged for HERR NEUMANN's assistance every round. Abraham never got close to stopping Miranda ... watch the fight without your head up Queen Abraham's ass .. but we know that's not possible eh?
