Abraham is going to kick his ass on Saturday. Even with his low workrate, he was still able to really stun Miranda with SINGLE punches.

Miranda is going down folks and it aint' going to be pretty.

I think they did a great job. No doubt they have seen the fight before, but I know for a fact it was just redone with their commentary over the past few weeks.

Lets see how the weight change plays a difference in this fight. BTW what are they going to weigh in at for this?

    166. I agree that it could be a factor, especially as they are likely to punch and finish at close range. If Pantera is able to turn him a little or push him just backward enough thanks to the added strength, it could make a difference.

I'm still predicting an Abraham victory, however. I believe he simply is the better fighter. That said, there are several guys who would hand him his ass at 168. He'd better get back to 160.

Yeah, no doubt they did a great job as always (especially given the delicate and unusual nature of this task), in spite of my nitpicks with Bernstein's analysis.

biggest crock of **** fight I've ever seen. abraham looked like he was wanting to give miranda a blow job and the stupid ref would'nt even stop it. If this fight would have been in the US (evidently the only country with morals) then it would not have gone half way through with miranda winning. Not only that the low blow points taken away were pure bull**** the first one was on the belt and second on stomach.

I thought the points were debatable in either direction, really.

But you are correct that an American doctor probably stops that fight. Remember Margaret Goodman stopping Corrales/Casamayor I? This one definitely would not have passed muster.

Anywhere but in Germany under the corrupt Wilfred Sauerland and Miranda walks home with the belt. The bull**** that goes on there is unreal!

Either way - even had the fight been stopped, and it can certainly be argued that it could have been (and in the US, likely would have been) - a rematch would still be warranted. Now is the perfect time for a rematch, with Miranda's visibility high after the Banks KO (and Abe riding the momentum of equally brutal, if less visible KO's over opposition superior to Banks, even if not known commodities) - the winner, I'm sure, is propelled toward relative 'superstardom' in the sport, in not much lower a strata than Pavlik.

    Well said.

I think boxing would benefit from an Abraham win, because then Pavlik would have a clear No. 1 challenger at 160. If Miranda wins, it doesn't really help Kelly or MW that much.

It was pretty clear that Miranda wasnt going to win that fight from the start. I just love the way that the Ref let the people at ringside have say has to the fight being or not being stopped. "If I stop the fight it will be a TKO and Miranda wins is that what you want?..No even with the point deductions he would still win TKO" He then asked AA "Do you want to continue" AA gestured NO at which point his corner started saying something to him, the ref once again asked do you want to fight AA gestured by shrugging his shoulders as if saying I guess so. that was bullsh*t. I saw that fight on the web some time back but it was in German and I could barely make out any of the sounds anyways....Pure BS and the reason that Germany has such a bad rep when it comes to boxing.
