If i were Abraham, i wouldn't want to fight with that corner anymore because they didn't even care about his health. They should've stopped the fight. Abraham's got balls.

And that blatantly intentional head butt by Miranda could've gotten him the DQ in some fights. The low blow deductions were questionable as they weren't intentional and near the belt line.

    Overall, a pretty boring fight.

This fight shows you how limited Miranda is. From maybe the 5th on, Abraham was a wounded duck. He still threw hard and fought back at times but a well placed right hand could've completely demolished his morale and jaw. He couldn't even get in that flush right hand for the last 7 rounds.

Yeah, the corner did a shitty job. They'll argue that their man kept the title, but at what expense? His career was halted for a spell as a result of that bout, and we can't know the long-term effects.

When a guy hits hit and not a spatter, but a stream of blood shoots out of his mouth, you know something is wrong. There's no way that fight would have continued in Nevada or New Jersey. No chance.

That headbutt was maybe the dirtiest I've seen in a couple years. It wasn't the most damaging, but it was obvious and totally unnecessary. Makes me want to go rewatch Pavlik/Miranda.

Lots of respect for Abraham just to stand upright and continue to take shots. One of those uppercuts made me cringe.

I'm still confused on what shot actually broke his jaw? Was it that glancing right upper cut in the 4th or 5th? If so, that shows your Miranda's power. But there wasn't flush shot where one can point to and say, "Yeah, that was the shot that broke the jaw."

It was in the 4th round. The glancing right uppercut. Right after that AA back away a bit and his mouth stayed open from then on.

Isn't it pretty crazy that a glancing shot like that can break a jaw? It must've been one of those shots where it placed at the perfect spot to break a jaw. You would think that anytime a guy breaks his jaw that it comes from a vicious, flush shot.

Do not open your mouth when being hit, that's all.

No he is not. Anybody with a brain agrees that Abraham won first fight, no ifs or buts.

Clearly Arthur was in every condition to fight. No real champ is gonna give up their belt for a ****ed up jaw, let alone one with cajones like AA.

Just because Pavlik will penefit (or the MW) does not mean it is good for boxing. Pavlik has choices to fight.

What is good for boxing is for Miranda to get his revenge and destroy Abraham!
Then fight Pavlik for a rematch at 168lbs next year.

Are you Randy Newman or one of those German judges.? No way did AA win that fight. He did land some good clean shots, but he was winging wild shots also. AA seemed polished at times and sloppy at times. He was on his bike most of the fight. When he did throw he threw in spurts.

This was the worst display of a boxing event ever, from the corny pyrotechnics in the opening, to the refereeing, to the ringside doctor to the judging.

This fight was a TKO victory for Miranda, Abraham was FORCED to continue and Miranda had absolutely no chance to hurt Abraham, once Arthur was hurt, rocked, the ref immediately stepped between them and then came the point deductions.

Ridiculous fight, with such an injury it is an obvious TKO for Miranda - much more obvious to say 2 examples than Holy's win over Rahman or Mosley's against Vargas. Thank God the fight did not retire Abraham... but could have been the last fight for him...

Miranda TKO 5. Still, Abraham gonna win the second by decision.

After watching the fight last night it was not a crooked hometown Decision. The referee was American for one and so were 2 of the judges. Abraham won the fight.

The only "robbery" that could be argued is that the fight should have been stopped in the 4th or 5th round.

Miranda was fighting dirty the headbutt was intentional and so was 1 of the low blows. Even with 3 points deducted instead of 5 Abraham still wins.

I think someone is getting KOed in the rematch.
