I don't know about that. This is his first fight in the US and is a very safe one as he knows his opponent. He also must've seen that miranda hasn't looked great lately. I prefered seeing aa take on a fighter he hasn't faced before in the us, and fight miranda in germany. Seems like a safe (b*tch) move from team AA.
He broke the jaw in the middle and on AA's left side - logic tells me that Miranda would have to learn a pretty good left hook to broke it in another place...
Same here. I'm so happy. :happy Kessler would have outclassed Miranda. This fight is much more competitive. Abraham wins a close decision.
Tell that to DK. Check out his post. He bought Palle's press release hook, line and sinker. That is the demographics it was aimed at. So, in that respect, it worked just fine. atsch
That was part of the 'deal' I'm sure. This wouldn't have happened without Lorenzo's consent. Like P2000 said. The IBF had to approve the whole thing.
Again, show us ANY proof to backup Palle's press release. ANY! It is folks like you that it was aimed at. Save face with the faithful, like yourself.
That's incorrect. Team Miranda negotiated with Abraham after team Kessler ****ed them over. Team Kessler never negotiated with anyone besides team Miranda. They pulled out of the fight in the hope that they could force Mundine to fight Kessler. However, Mundine will fight Soliman as scheduled and then move to MW.
He's referring to this piece of crap: http://www.boxingconfidential.com/articles.php?id=4368 He clings to it like it is holy scripture. If I was part of Miranda's team, I'd be calling Palle agreeing NOT to respond to it to allow him to save face in return for a future bout. Indeed, it occurs to me that it best if Miranda's folks don't respond. No one that counts believes it anyhow.
I think AA made a mistake agreeing to fight at 166, bc it will favour Miranda more than it does for AA, and considering their last fight was damn close, this time I think it goes the other way around.
