Although the initial possibility of this fight happening in the Bell Center was shot down to do the local NHL hockey team having a possible conflict, the outdoor stadium in the park in being highly considered as the venue. I love Montral, great city with great boxing fans, but for this fight, I would rather see it elsewhere. I am worried it will be too pro-Kessler of a crowd.

Miranda would have a lot of fans also...simply because he's an exciting fighter !

The fans treated him nice when he was up there watching the Pascal vs Normal fight. But I just think Canada would be more pro-European, pro-white fighters. Plus Edison had some 'bad blood' with Pascal, a local favorite fighter. You dont think it would be a huge majority of the crowd being either pro-Kessler or anti-Miranda?

All he has to do is keep saying how much he loves the Montreal people and how they are passionate about boxing and blablabla.....

Then he just needs to learn a few French words such as '' Bonjour Montreal '' '' J'adore Montreal '' etc.. and he will instantly have as many fans as Kessler for their fight !! :thumbsup

What would it matter, the crowd can't fight for the boxers, can they?

So in all honesty, Montreal is neutral ground for both these fighters, and it will be damn nice to see Mikkel chop his head off :happy

Montreal people are very racist... they will predictably cheer for the white guy.

    Montrealers cheer for:

    - locals
    - white guys vs. other races
    - underdogs
    - against cocky fighters (they love working class type guys)

Kessler has agreed to make this fight happen in America, anywhere outside of Florida. No, the crowd cant win or lose you a fight, but it is nice to have as much home'field' advantage as possible.

    So neither guy is local
Kessler is by far the whitest!
    Miranda is the underdog
Miranda is cocky, but he came from a tough working background (not sure Kessler's background)

So being a white local, who do you cheer for?

nah nah alot of people will cheer for Miranda. There's alot of latinos in mtl and also alot of blacks especially when it comes to boxing fans.

Alcine and Pascal are both Haitian and they sold like 15,000 tickets to their last event. Miranda may be latino but still he will garner alot of support.

its really gonna be neutral ground if it happens in montreal. Alot of people will come from ontario to see this fight too, people in general realise that its a really good fight i'm sure it could sell 20,000

I like skills, none of them has much skills, so I'm neutral. I think Miranda would win based on the fact that he seems to have straightened his punches and I don't think Kessler would pressure him much, so based on the fact that he doesn't move his head too well, Miranda will get to land a couple with leverage.

Don't get me wrong. His punching technique is ok, especially his straights. But he backs straight up, doesn't have a very good defense and has poor balance.

By skills I don't only mean knowing how to put punches together. I'm talking about ring generalship, defense, the ability to control the pace of a fight.

compared to real skilled guys, i.e. Floyd, Bernard, Pernell, etc. etc. who own multiple PhDs, Kessler's a 6th grader
