Coming off an intentional foul Abraham could have taken time if he wanted to anyways.

Boo hoo. Miranda could have been DQ'ed on the headbutt alone since it was an intentional foul so quit you're crying.

ok on that same train of thought, abraham should have been dq'ed for the obvious, excessive, and flagarent holding. I am not going to say that headbutt was not intentional, it was. But if abraham wouldnt of held on for dear life all the time maybe edison wouldnt have done it.

Yea, what a joke! The headbutt was hardly anything. Should have been a warning.

I think the long break was so Wilfred Sauerland could wire more money to Neuman's bank account to force the fight to continue.

For God's sake, when in American does the doctor and the fighter say they can not continue, but the ref forces the fight on??? :patsch
Oh, that's right. THIS fight was in the corruption of Sauerland's home town brewing.

To have excessive holding the ref needs to warn a guy for it a couple of times. I don't recall that happening. I do agree that Abraham held a lot, but for some reasons refs let fighters get away with that to much. On an intentional foul though the rules are a lot more clear. 2 point deduction or DQ.

ok well if the ref was going to let abraham get away with holding he should have let edison get away with the headbutt. maybe a warning instead of a 2 point deduction and 5 minute break off the bat. But what do you expect from a hometown judge, with a hometome ref, with a promoter by the name of 'Frauderland'.

What a stupid thing to say. If Neuman was in Sauerland's back pocket he would have just DQ'ed miranda which he rightffully could have done and not made Abraham fight on with a broken jaw. As it was the fight continued and Miranda lost to a guy with a broken jaw. :hi:

Excessive holding is up to the ref. That is his discretion. I actually thought the holding was worse later in the fight than the early portion. When you have a discresionary rule it's up to the ref. However the rule on a intentional foul is very clear. You don't give warnings on intentional fouls you take points or DQ a guy.

being discretionary on an intentional headbutt is the same as being discretionary on an intentional hold. they both are used to gain an unfair advantage. You cannot discredit one foul for another. a foul is a foul is a foul. You are trying to trump up the headbutt as something more serious than the holds in which case they are both just as bad.

arent you the same idiot who posted this:

you just pulled that out of your ass. miranda actually made more than abraham because he beat your boy into a bloody, titanium-wired jaw mess. your bias is clearly with abraham who lost that fight.
