Of course your rebuttal was, 'AA doesnt need HBO, he makes a whole ****load amount of money in Germany so who the **** is HBO in deciding who gets the big fights'. My rebuttal to your flawed analogy was that Miranda actually makes more than AA and if AA really would have won, HBO would have given him the shot for the title. funny, in most fights held in nuetral terrioty or in the states there is usually warnings and then points deducted. But for some reason miranda had 2 points taken from the bat. you smell something fishy? i do.

The rule is "excessive" holding, not just holding. That is the ref's determination. While as a intentional foul is AT LEAST an automatic 2 points taken. Do you know anything about boxing rules? HBO IS the only thing that matters here in the USA. If they back you, than you get the big fights and make the big money.

I know exactly what Miranda and Abraham made this year and the difference is huge. Abraham is a slave under Sauerland and has a horrible contract where Wilfred makes most of the purse. Things could change if he can get away from that contract and come over here for a few fights. As long as he continues to fight worthless opponents in his backyard he will continue to make pennies....

 

If you think that Miranda made more money than Abraham this year you're WRONG.

Abraham could make more money if he joined another GERMAN promoter (Sturm gets some 50% more), but not if he fought in the US.

To make money he'd to head a WCB card and without fighting Taylor or Pavlik that's impossible.
