I am not making a prediction. Just pointing out a couple of facts. Ward is a very good boxer. The two guys who beat Miranda ain't exactly slicksters:think
Yea man! That just wasnt cool. You dont wish a fighter gets seriously hurt. If someone told you that they hope Pavlik get KTFO, that's one thing. But to say they hope he gets a brain clot from a punch to the back of the head and blood starts dripping from his ears.... That aint right! :bart
Right which is interesting. The fight is pretty interesting and it's a tough one to figure out. Ward has never really been tested and Miranda (if he's coming forward the whole time) requires a few rounds to adjust to him. It's entirely possible that Ward (facing his first real test) will freeze up allow himself to get shaken or potentially dropped n stopped early. If he is able to out will Miranda early on he could either box his way to a decision or try to go for a KO. Tough fight to judge.
Miranda has a lot more on the line than Ward does. If Ward loses, he's a propect that needs to go back to the drawing board. If Miranda loses, he'll be a gatekeeper on FNF. That's another interesting aspect.
Forever i believe. He had a shot at Abraham twice and the Pavlik eliminator and lost them all. A loss tomorrow he wont get a shot at a title in a long time.
Good point. Something I hadn't even considered. To tie in with the prospect business, you have to look at the fact that Ward is slowly falling behind on the Prospect totem pole at SMW. Danny Jacobs is a threat to go up in weight at any time, Matvey Korobov could go wind up there eventually (if he isn't already there), Lara is lyin in the weeds to potentially move up soon as well (the guy will be a LHW when all is said and done IMO). You also of course have Andre Dirrell hanging out there as well. One false step in the SMW division and you could find yourself in the mythical land that is known as Bolivian. One other thing is that Miranda has power that Ward hasn't seen before. It would've been wise to slowly up the power level on Ward to condition him for a fight like this.
