Any version of Tyson quitting against Williams?

 

Tough fight but Liston would wear him down in a war. He is another who would be able to meet Tyson head on and he's a noticeably better infighter.

 

You'd think Tyson's short arms, and strength would give him an advantage on the inside.

 

But they never did.

 

Yup, he was an awesome mid range fighter yet not that good in close.

 

tyson wins all day long .far too quick for liston id be surprised if it went past 7 or 8 .

 

Just as Patterson (who was even faster than Tyson) was right?

 

You didn't read my post carefully. I didn't write that Liston was harder to hit or faster than Floyd. I said Tyson was.

 

Sorry meant to right Tyson. Tyson was not harder to hit or faster than Floyd.

 

Now that you mentioned that, maybe Tyson wasn't harder to hit or faster than Floyd, but he did hit harder, had a better chin and was considerably heavier.

 

I think Tyson was just as fast, better defense, better chin and far more powerful. Compared to Tyson, Patterson couldn't crack an egg. Liston had nothing to worry about. With Tyson, Liston would have a helluva lot more to worry about. A LOT MORE.
