Its got to be said very unprofessional both Liam Smith and Joe G, Both didnt seem to care that they failed to make the weight safely yet again.
Surely the experience Joe has he should know from previous rules meetings that there is a 2 hour window to lose additional weight it really is begger's beleif.
This is very unfair on his opponent who has done his job and came in on the weight, the rules state that Williams made the weight and would have been paid because of this, but fair play to him hes accepted the fight even though he would have been paid had he not wanted too

He wud have probably agreed to taking a percentage of smiths purse for the fight to go ahead.
Missing weight by a couple ounces can b understandable but over 2 lbs is a disgrace

Sosa was a couple of oz over at the vs loma weigh, of which im sure he came back on the weight in the designated time.
Smith didnt even bother trying to get the weight off.
I was backing smith before this, now im edging towards williams as hes obviously killed himself to do the weight plus it might of thrown a spanner in the works in his mental preparatio. Smith had the needle at the face off and tried taunting williams, would he of done that if hed of made the weight?
Im going to this card tonight and cant wait for this fight, its the one im looking fwd to the most now.
