Mitch blood Green

I saw him on the 3 train a few years ago, He was pretty close to homeless at the time. I gave him a few bucks. Life is crazy.

 

somthing about them old broadcast they have a different feel than the ones off todays quality cant think of the words to describe it

 

he grabbed carl king by the neck / shirt collar telling him him and his dad were crooks and he wanted his money....

 

Don't have stories but that was the first Tyson fight I saw.

i also heard before he got his face caved in my mike tyson in that street fight, he apparently ripped the mirror off the side of mike tysons car telling him to get out of the car and he wanted a rematch....

My favorite Mitch story as told by Kevin Rooney:

"...It was Green's style. All Green was doing was counterpunching. He wasn't leading. Green fought a defensive fight and didn't look to engage. He only looked to survive. Mike beat the **** outta him! When you got a guy who's 6'4", that doesn't want to lead or exchange, he's hard to fight - and he's definitely hard to knock out. Also, Mitch has always been pissed off about his situation with Don King. That's what lead to that street fight in Harlem in front of that clothing store. Green took a slug at Mike and Mike blasted him."

 

The background music on the pre-fight segment seems to be from some 80s movie.

 

My mother knew him. He's originally from the bronx but moved to queens. He had an incident with in the projects during his time coming up because his mother was getting beat on by the man she was with at the time and green confronted him with the whole block of people. He supposedly pulled out a shotgun and put it to his head or something. He basically just humilated him and smacked him around a bit. Mitch was a cool dude before he got addicted to that angel dust he was smoking. That was a big drug in the 80's in the black communities. He definetly wasn't someone you wanted to have beef with, and a lot of people were afraid of him because of how he used to knock dudes out on the streets and that's how he got his name Blood.

Angel Dust is meant to be really crazy stuff, makes you mad as a hatter & totally immune to pain... do you think maybe Mitch could've gotten away with taking it against Tyson? Surely they couldn't test for PCP back then? I mean, Green was taking flush nukes in combination like that mother****er had titanium in his chin! :scaredas:

dude trust me, there is no way in hell a muther****er can attend a fight after smoking leak let alone fight one high on the ****. dudes can definetly do some crazy **** physically while high on the **** (see Big Lurch) but the atmosphere and pre/post fight hoopla would make it completely evident that homie was high as ****....

 

makes me laugh everytime.
