If Green had been in his prime those decades, how would he have done and how far would he have gone, knowing what we know about him. He was the first (2nd?) To take Tyson the distance. So he was durable.

I don't think the people from the 30s and 40s would be ready for a character like Mitch blood Green! LOL But I think he would be champ!

Not in the ring anyway. One of my very earliest boxing memories is seeing Mitch Green on the news with two black eyes and huge bandage on his nose saying

    "Mike Tyson
    IS A SISSY!" :pancarta:

I feel like Mitch Green's bigger claim to fame is breaking Mike Tyson's hand (with his face... :boxing1) outside Dapper Dan's.

Green mixing it up with Walcott, Schmeling ,Elmer Ray or Ezzard Charles would be fun to see

Well Crack Cocaine didn't exist back then so Mitch would definitely be champ.

Mitch Green was a big, durable tough guy that couldn't fight. He just wasn't good. In the 30s or 40s, without crack and pcp, it would have been something else. So how far would being big and durable take him?
