how is my opinion not based on fact. i have seen all of them box and do not think that burns would beat them.

i have always been very complimentary of burns recently, but do no think that he is anything more than a very very good domestic fighter. i think you will find most people on the forum and most experts will be picking mitchell and im sure he will be bookies favourite to.

would hatton of beat tysuzu in bristol?? certainly the the crowd make a big difference to both fighters mentality as well as the judges.

i think mitchell can compete at world level. i do not think the same about burns. it an opinion based on the fact i have seen 6,7 burns fights, 10+ mitchell fights and the fighters listed above at leat once.

btw billy will ricky still be on the rogan vs sexton card. boxrec says so?? also when is limmond next out?

i would rate the above like so

    1) Linares (fights in japan doubt it will ever happen)
    2) Soto
    3) Guerro
    4) Martinez

how would you rate it billy?

also i thin burns and mitchell beat all ouf the south africans as long as its not in africa.

rob, ricky fights mitchell next, there will be some news on limond next week,i just cant understand how you think kevin would beat all these guys yet ricky would beat none? and by the way people who i think are knowledgable regarding boxing are split on who they think will win with burns and mitchell, you should maybe start asking people who live outside daganham ha ha,yes hatton was the underdog in that fight he WON! i dont give a **** if rickys 1/100 on to win a fight the fight has still to be won and will train accordingly.

having your home support deffinatley makes a different. mitchell has a bigger fan base, and there bigger arenas in london. hostle atmosphere will be a huge advantage to mitchell.

mitchells win over CJ is still the best win on either fighters resume. we saw that kevin can come back from near defeat and pull out a stoppage, we have not seen that from Burns.

Rob, Mitchell doesn't have that kind of fan base where he'll be able to completely fill out an arena and make it hostile. Regardless of its size. Burns has a decent fan base and they are all off their heads so wherever this is at the crowd is gonna be pretty split anyway.

IMO there is no way whatsoever that I see Mitchell winning this fight. Compare the way the two fighters have looked recentley all roads point to Burns. He's looked so much better and so much more complete since the Johanneson fight where since Mitchell fought him he's steadily declined. Couple this with a layoff like the one Mitchell has had then I see him getting stopped too

I think Mitchell will win this one but Ricky Burns will surely give it his all, I think Mitchell has been ready to step up for a while now. Should be a good domestic little scrap and am deffinetly looking forward to it.

if the fights not in london ricky burns WILL take more fans to this fight than mitchell. rob, kevin done great to come back against CJ,ricky got gubbed against CJ, but burns is a far far far better fighter than then,he was being trained my his old am trainer,if it was todays burns v CJ , ricky would win and win easy imo.if burns were to fight martinez in scotland for the WBO title he would get every bit as big a support as scott harrison if not more.

They both get quite clearly beaten by the opposition mentioned. There not good enough. Burns is better of the two, but mitchell isnt a good boxer he brawls ok! but copps for to many shots and when hes in with these world class bangers hes getting knocked out. But Burns would make things interesting with some of them but as mentioned would get beat.

rob ricky burns sold nearly 1,000 tickets for the gomez fight,i know for a fact kevins not done near that for any of his fights,as i say mate fact not what you want to believe.if you think kevin will have more fans than ricky at the fight your sadly wrong,it wont matter if the fights in daganham ricky will be to good for him imo.

1000 tickets in your home town is nothing to brag about.

york hall holds over a 1000 and mitchell has banged it out plently of times in non title fights. Mitchell in London for a world title with a decent undercard would do 7500+

I've never heard Rickys fans singing Celtic songs at his fights and I've been at 4 of them.

Wasn't at the last one though.
