I would love to see Kats fight the winner of Valero DeMarco.

He had a few dramas with a visa into america because of a previous conviction, maybe thats what you were referring to :huh

 

Umm, no. What he posted is a strong rumor that has been around for along time. It might explain why Kats hasn't been home for years. Who knows....

Kevin Mitchell is a good fighter. He had a severe hand injury that kept him out for 18 months or so and threatened to end his career, but that is sorted.

He moved up in his last fight and beat Prescott handily, he did get hit with a bomb or two and literally laughed them off.

He is a box fighter, can get dragged into a war, but showed real maturity and composure against Prescott. He has beaten all the necessary super feathers in the UK. And with his last win jumped ahead of Murray in the light weight rankings. He has good power, not sure if it has carried up to light weight, though i felt he could have stopped Prescott if his corner had told him to go, they told him to keep doing what he was doing and he did. He had a real war with Carl Johanson for the British Super Feather title, and came through a real test of character to knock him out. Johanson is a real banger. Kev as far as i know has never been down amateur or pro.

I think but not overly confidently that he would wear down Katsidis and bust him up, outpoint him or stop him late. I would be more confident if he had a couple more fights at the weight, though to be fair he has served a long apprenticship ( he turned pro at 18 ) has a good corner and promoter, so is probably ready. His stamina is excellent also , he can do 12 fast rounds no problem, and his power is there to the end.

He is a fun fighter to watch, either way a match with Katsidis would be good.

Not true. Kats has been home just hasn't fought here for a while.

 

Kats is an awful boxer, I would happily bet on underdog Mitchell.
