Mitchell eyes Murray or Katsidis rematch

he can forget about Katsidis, he has his eyes set on a world title.

the size difference in them alone was scary.

he needs to get back down to Super Featherweight.

 

130lbs and Ricky Burns is his best chance of cracking the 'World' scene (essentially Euro level@130 bar Uchiyama and Fana, and even those are very good rather than 'Elite' level IMO) although Murray is winnable and bloody exciting.

Katsidis?!?!? Mitchell wouldn't beat him in ten attempts. No doubt he'll fight five or six jokers before being given another push, in which he'll be ill-prepared and outclassed again. Someone like Antillon at 135 would batter him, maybe Tony DeMarco would be a good gauge of his level?

 

he should go for burns. props for wanting mitchell again!

i think an in shape mitchell, at this stage has what it takes vs kats.

 

I think DeMarco would stop Mitchell.

 

I certainly wouldnt pay to watch him take on katsidis again!!!

Thousands of us paid good money for that joke of an event at upton park and he didnt prepare or take the oppourtunity seriously.

I like the sound of the Murray fight, would be a good scrap. He hasnt a ****in hope of ever fighting Katsidis again so he can forget about that one.

 

He's wasting his time if his career goes like before c level fighter after c level fighter and then the sudden step up? This from someone whose best achievement as an amateur was an ABA title. Good fighter is Mitchell but he needs to show us what he's made of now- I have a horrible feeling he's going to Alex Arthur on us.

 

If they both live to a hundred Mitchell still loses.

 

Well at least he has stopped talking about fighting Khan now...

 

Hopefully in his next bout he does himself justice as if he turns in another pathetic performance, he can forget about any world stage aspirations

 

I think Murrays a good fight for him, its a solid all british match-up and if Mitchell boxes clever he is more than capable of beating Murray. It would be good for Murray too as Mitchell has had a bit of exposure with his bouts against Prescott and Katsidis and it would be the perfect set-up to a world title bout (if he wins) especially if it gets on tv (which it would).
A win for Mitchell puts him back on track and a win for Murray puts him in line for a title crack
